Hey guys, this is the guy who waa yalking abiut his real good vertical jump last thread. I slept on it and i realized that i was doubke jumping. Like id jump and then id jump again while i was in the air so i wouod go luke twice as high. Also sometimes i waa crouch jumping which is where i run around ina crouched position then junp at the exact right moment and it makes it so i can hella jump if i do it right.

I've had someone at my ex-gym run Sheiko novice from the app (pretty much the prep 1 from intermediate small load with a few extra accessories).

I'd recommend doing SS first. If you're done with that, then yeah, Sheiko novice is good - or just run one prep cycle from the Sheiko intermediate programs if you don't care that much about the extra accessories.
Keep in mind you only need to do the comp cycles if you're competing. If not, do the first week to test new maxes and start over from the beginning.

Theoretically, you should be doing paused because that's what you do in competitions.

In practise, sheiko says you can pause the first rep of every set and do the rest TNG, or if you're not competing in the near future, you can choose to just do TNG.

Inflating the bench numbers for sheiko programs is common, but be careful not to overdo it.

But I'd recommend starting with prep 1, testing, then moving to prep 2, testing, then doing whatever you prefer.

This is because prep 1 starts easy and ramps you into the difficulty, while prep 2 assumes you're ready for the difficulty and starts off with high difficulty.

But depending on what your numbers are; some people can start on prep 2 just fine and not have issues.

I'm a different fellow. About a year ago I had some sharp SI pain (I'm assuming it's SI joint, it's at the very bottom of the spine/top of pelvis and unilateral to the right side) that prevented me from doing much beyond bench press and was a general pain in the ass for a goddamn month.

After that it's been varying degrees of mildly annoying.

How fix? I'm just kind of been foam rolling the shit out of my ass (figuratively) after every workout, and doing some dynamic stretches for my hamstrings and lower back after working out in order to keep connection muscles from getting tight.

Foam rolling aint gonna do shit. A lacrosse ball can really get in there and give you some relief, but I'm actually having the best results by squatting properly and getting things moving properly. It'll heal, but not if you don't fix the problem that caused it in the first place.

Oh, and going from a low seated car, to a bench seat in my truck has been a HUGE help in the healing process. Don't forget to watch the injury outside the gym. Hope you get better lad.

I basically gave up on deadlift. Its not pleasant at all for me and it hurts my wrists and i cant unrack bench properly with achey wrists.

Tbh I only follow sheiko's s/b/d programming. The accessory work I interpret as "do some light work for these muscles to get a pump and stretch out through longer ROM". So shit like pushups and db flies I just do some light high rep db benching, anything leg press or bulgrian split squats or whatever else sheiko says I do some light high rep weight belt squats (the thing CWS and Max Aita keep jerking off over).

Point being, don't just "do sheiko". Try to understand _why_ the program is written how it is and base your decisions off that.

Hi trappy-chan, can you pleas help me with the snatch deadlift? I've been doing it for weeks now (and progressing) but my grip never feels good at all.
My fingers get squished together as the everliving fuck and sometimes I lose feeling in the tip of one of my fingers for days after snatch deadlifting 2x5.
Also the bars rolls out of my hands so I'm holding it as shitty at the top as the woman in the picture I am posting alongside this post.
