I'm trying to understand roiding a bit more, as I'm interested in using them and want to know the health risks beforehand.

1) One thing I don't quite get is the "Hypothalamic–pituitary–adrenal axis" thing. From what I've gathered you mess it up when you roid, even more so if you do several cycles. Although people take post-cycle stuff in order to realign it as much as possible, it's never like it used to be.
If this is true, does that mean hollywood actors who roid for their roles fuck their health for life? Or is it not true you always fuck up said axis? Is it something you may fuck up if you don't have the appropriate doctors and supervision, but perfectly safe if you do?

2) Another thing that worries me is results. Again, from what I've gathered, you always fall back to a worse body after being doing with roids. It doesn't matter how hard you train and if you are still within your natural limit. You'll gain some fat (or if you are adamant on not gaining fat, you'll lose muscle fibers). Even if you kept muscle fibers, you would still lose muscle volume as you lose the glucogen inside the muscle, you also lose vascularity and what not.

These 2 things make me thing that roids are basically something you better either not ever do, or do all your life, but doing for, say, 1 year doesn't make much sense as you might fuck up your health for life and lose results fast anyway.

How wrong is this? And if it's wrong, what are better, more objective sources to learn about roids?

Do you need PCT if you're just taking test-e for 14 weeks?

Hello friends, I'm a 24-year-old natty experiencing low test symptoms (no energy, depression, virgin, weak boner, fat nipples idk if gyno, etc.) and I took some bloods:

Total test: 800 ng/dl
SHBG: 64 nmol/l (17-66)
Free test, calc: 325 pmol/l (155-800)
Estradiol: 0.15 nmol/l (<0.15)

Liver, kidneys, LH and all that stuff is good. Looking at some studies my total test seems to be some over average for my age, my SHBG is average for a 85-100-year-old and my free test ends up being an average for 45-55-year-old. Couldn't find how to change E2 to ng/dl but it's tapped out.

So E2 and SHBG are cucking my free test. What the fuck, senpai? I'm not interested in pinning because my total test is completely fine but I've begun my AAS research.

From what I gather I theorize I could fix this by running just AI. That sound crazy to you more experienced people? Has anyone dealt with high E2 and SHBG but highish total test? Has anyone run AI only cycles? Do I even need to cycle if I'm running just AI? Which AI to run? Aromasin, arimidex?

Doctor says all the values are fine because they're in the reference values, and I'm probably just depressed. Also offered me SSRI, lul.
