Hello plg

I am going to buy some proper lifting shoes soon, either romaleos or adipowers.

I've been told by different people that you can deadlift in weightlifting shoes with a heel raise(ripptoe) and that you cannot deadlift in weightlifting shoes(candito).

Which one is the correct answer? Should I keep my chucks for deadlifting and use the weightlifting shoes for the other lifts?

I plan on doing the Texas method, so would it be a good idea to wear the weightlifting shoes during all other lifts, then take them off and deadlift barefoot? Thanks

Theres nothing technically stopping you from deadlifting in heels although there is no benefit to it. Heels increase ROM so the lift is harder. No one would purposely go out of their way to deadlift in heels.

If you can't progress on a beginner program like SS anymore, then intermediate programs would be the way to go. Texas method is kinda hard, but it can work, Madcow 5x5, C6W (preferably not for bench), Greg Nuckols' 28 free programs (you could probably get away with doing the beginner variants if you wanted), CLutz intermediate (preferably for bench), and I'm sure I'm missing some.

Well the thing is, if your wrists are bending back you should be countering it by gripping the bar tighter and attempting to bend it as you pull it apart. You have to grip really fucking hard for bench.

Did SS without eating enough, so if she eats right she won't be doing it forever like I was.

Got to 80kg on deadlift, 70 on squat and 35 on bench. Now running TM (a higher volume for deadlifts version) in 2/3 months im now at 105 for deadlifts (e1rm going for 100kg triple Sunday), 90kg squats (85kg triple), and 45kg on bench.

She needs time to work on form during SS so make sure she works on hinging and hamstring flexibility ASAP.

Elite benchers use wrist wraps, making this grip not necessary. (though it also has the benefit of allowing you to grip wider)

But if you're having wrist pains or don't have access to wrist wraps, gripping that way solves your issues.

It only feels weird at first, but you get used to it. And it's not supposed to be painful, you're doing it wrong if it's hurting.
