Need some help with my program

I've been doing 5/3/1+BBB for the past couple months and I've been skipping my deload weeks for those past cycles. I've been going strictly with the program but my muscles aren't really sore enough (I feel anyways) to warrant a whole week to take it easy. I'm still not even at my original 1RM, so I'm not sure whether to skip the deload week again this month and go straight into my next cycle

I know the old "FOLLOW THE PROGRAM RETARD" mantra but I feel like the number one rule is "listen to your body" and my body says it's fine to skip deload again this month. What do you think, /plg/?

TM = Texas Method. It's good if you can't reliably add weight to the bar every workout. Expect 2.5-5kg every week. It's what happened to me.
Sheiko means a Sheiko program relevant for your level - novice Sheiko, beginner Sheiko, etc. I never tried them so I can't vouch for them.

It's sort of like a Heavy/Light/Medium program, changing volume throughout the week more so than intensity.

Day 1 is the volume day, usually people do a 5x5, sometimes people up to the volume, and/or the intensity. Doing 6-8x5s or 8-10x3s is not unheard of.

Day 2 is meant to he a recovery day. Usually people will do lighy squats for a 2x5 or something similar at like 80% of your 5RM. Often people (especially weightlifters) will just do some heavy front squats on this day. It make still be heavy-ish on the legs, but it lets the lower back rest. So you have two options here: Light back squats for reduced volume, or a light squat variation (high rep split squat or something similar here might be interesting)

Day 3 is a maxout day. Generally people will go for a PR 5RM on this day. Sometimes people do triples, singles, whatever. Sometimes people cycle it, so one week you do a 5RM, next week you do a 3RM, next week a 1RM, repeat. Whatever. The point is to hit a PR, which will set the # to use for your %ages next week.

This is done on the usual x1x2x3xx schedule.

This program can be tough, and is often considered to be. But honestly, you can make it as easy or difficult as you want.

If you do this, keep it simple at first. As you get used to the program, you can play around with it. Different RMs on max day, more volume or higher intensity on volyme day, etc.

The day I maxed my bench I had two 200 mg caffeine tablets beforehand, and then when I decided to do my squats after I had another 200 mg but that was quite the exception. Usually I have coffee throughout the day and 1 200 mg pill about an hour before my work sets.

Caffeine (and other stimulants) are proovably good sports supplements, which is why their competition use beyond a threshold is banned

It is, that's why dogs are a family thing.

If you want your dog to live a happy and healthy life, then you need to take him out for a 2 hour walk at least once a day.
And those walks should be somewhere where the dog can run free and explore - meaning ideally not the same place again and again.

So as you can see, it's pretty damn hard to do alone.
If you have kids and shit then that is a whole different story.
Hence, a family thing.

It seems that people generally say snatch grip deadlifts are a more upper back involving deadlift variation.

Targeting your lower back would be better served probably by doing more regular deadlifts, stiff leg deadlifts, paused off the floor or deficit deadlifts, and back extension volume.

Well if you want to put weights/barbell on the floor you pay 30$ extra.
It's 15$ for using barbells/dumbbells/plates only, 25$ is "crossfit" where you can use barbells, plates and kettlebells, there's another $25 called "pump" which only allows machines and a "fitness god" for $50 where you can use everything but the floor. If you want to use the floor you either add $30 to subscription or pay a dollar for every time the barbell/dumbbell/whatever touches the floor.

Have any of you tried to incorporate oly lifts to your program? If yes, did you see any benefits? My lifts just feel pretty slow even with moderate weights. I thought oly lifts could help with speed.

what do you lads think about a lower/upper/maxout(fullbody) routine.

so one week I do:

day 1: lower (squat and a deadlift variation + assistance/bbing)
day 2: upper (bench + assistance/bbing)
day 3: work up to some sort of PR in squat, bench and DL, and do some BBing work for upper and lower body.

next week i just switch the orders of the upper and lower workouts, the same thing really, so just:

day 1: upper
day 2: lower
day 3: max out (fullbody)

it sounds fun and makes sense?
