Nope. I'm actually in a shed right now, the problem is that the shed floor is only thin wood and it's hollow. (Like 5 inches between the floor and concrete slabs).

I don't think it's strong enough to support the weight, it's definitely a little soft on it own. And also, the whole shed shakes when I drop/lower a deadlift. I'm not sure if a thick plywood and rubber platform would completely remove this issue or not.

Was in pretty much the same position as you. Finished my home gym shed with a raised, thin wooden floor. Then I dropped a 60kg power clean to test the floor. One hole and one huge dent, that's how flimsy the flooring was.

Made a platform by putting down a few layers of particle board (because cheap) and then a nice layer of plywood on top. No glue, screws or rubber; super easy to make. No problems ever since.

I dropped a 225kg deadlift halfway up, and a 110kg power clean. Both with bumpers though which probably help with keeping the platform in good condition and preventing some vibration. If I was using iron plates I'd definitely get rubber for the ends of the platform, otherwise the wood would get chewed up pretty fast.

Even shitty floors are pretty sturdy, the platform is really just to prevent localized damage to the floor. If a bunch of people were in the room and all jumped at the same time, how many do you think it would take for the floor to collapse? A lot of people, right?
