Farmers walks, heavy rows and weighted chins, heavy hammer curls holding the lowest part of the dumbbell handle, and holding the last deadlift rep for 10-15 seconds is good. Chalk and using either a mixed or hook grip is highly recommended as well.

Stretched IT band aggressively today before lifting and my knees felt way, way better.
So I went in and did some sumo to see how it felt. The form is actually worse here but it felt very natural and this didn't hurt my knees at all so I think I'm gonna stick with it until I can improve my hip mobility.

Also did some benching and was able to work up to 245 with only minor irritation to the shoulder/pec, and then did some SuperRam work with 275 and 295.

Maybe everything is starting to look up again.

Wilks isn't a perfect measure of strength to weight. It's the most common, and it's the one that's currently used by the IPF, tho.

Greg Nuckols has an excellent article on measuring strength to weight here:

TL:DR, most people here have strength dysmorphia.

IN MY OPINION, "advanced" starts when you hit the brick wall.

Most guys with decent genetics will hit 390-420 in a handfull of years if they are doing dedicated training. Then they hit the wall going 100mph.

Progressing while "advanced" requires VERY dedicated training, proper prioritization and programming, high injury resistance, careful attention to recovery, lots of time, and an autistically dedicated mindset.

The guys with 440+ wilks that train like retards are either true genetic talents, or they are using "unnatural" tactics to improve strength.

yeah along with a few other things that are coming and going
leg has been getting better and then i got a massage for it yesterday, for a woman she bruised the fuck out of me, now its sore to touch but at least not sore to move
strength is still there and actually, even with all the skipped work, seems to be going up
got 3 on a 1+ set squat for a new 3rm

felt a little iffy on depth tho, not sure if bad angle
