I was looking at some videos online about deadlift form, and one said a potential problem could be weak hamstrings since i round once i pull. Does this sound likely if i dont round on a normal deadlift, would it be smart to just lower the weight and work up once i am used to the movement?

Never had this problem before, and dont want to injure myself longterm.

Felt like i didnt have any strength at that point, not sure if i am just setting up wrong but might drop down to 220kg max on the spreadsheet.

Yeah one of my friends I used to lift with back in Ohio started as a turbo skelly and could only bench 50x5 and squat 65x5 at first. But after 9 months his stats were around 240/175/300 or so with putting on 25 lbs.

But if you really only squat 210 at 210 lbs after 9 months you're probably not trying hard enough.

But she has weird views on things anyways. She studied nutrition her entire career as side-interest.

Told me not to count calories because it's a waste of time and effort. Basically said I should simply eat clean, cut shitty high calorie stuff like noodels, sweets and eat high protein stuff instead.

I think that kind of thinking is really prevalent in people who live the "healthy lifestyle" they dont seem to understand macronutrients and cals are all that matters in terms of weight gain/loss and will refuse to listen to anything that doesn't agree with their views even if the science supportso the other opinion. I had a similar issue (no pain, I just couldn't complete the deadlifts from pins/boxes) when I started out. Reduce all your deadlift from boxes sets by 5% for this run.

Make sure your position with the deadlifts from boxes resembles your position at the same height during a normal deadlift. I think a lot of people tend to lock their knees prematurely on these and make it far more of a back movement than is intended (once again I had a similar issue).

was my final results, this is after about 4 months of training, 1 month on Candito's linear and 3 doing some random PPL/brosplit garbage.

Failed a 125kg squat and had to dump the bar (no spotter) got a bunch of people looking at me just laughed it off.

Also failed 100kg bench which was pretty upsetting for me, I was so close to getting it as well feels bad.

How long do you think I should wait before attempting the 100kg bench again? I really want to hit that before the end of summer.

Mobility work, and going outside. Doing a whole lot of nothing between time at the gym made my hip flexors hurt in squats, as soon as I was simply out walking around more and moving more it really made things easier for my hip flexors.

Even with only body weight, no bar, going deep enough and then flexing my quads causes a pain.
