Just finished my first cycle of C6W with 350x5 on deadlift. I probably still had 2-3 reps in me but I was supposed to just do 1-4. I have no idea how to adjust my training max for a new cycle since this set was pretty easy, but don't want to take a full week to max out.

Any tips for my form? This was my first training cycle with sumo, so I'm still really new to it. This did feel better than 350x5 ever felt conventional though.

Recovery is always a very personal thing. So even though one may argue just doing the program as is is the safest bet for having results, a small degree of customisation of the schedule shouldn't be the end of the world.

However, there's a reason Candito alternates the days of the workouts like he does. He expects recovery from certain workouts to take longer than others because of the amount of weight and sets done (and some workouts are AMRAP).
The problem with having the fixed sunday-thursday days, is that you'll have 3 off days in the week and only 2 off days for the next week.
In the program he expects you to have 3 days off from w2->w3 and w4->w5
Sunday-wednesday will present a similar problem, but for the other weeks.

But this is obvious stuff that you probably have checked already.

My suggestion is, if you're gonna try this, I'd stick to sunday-thursday. Seems much easier than sunday-wednesday, considering sunday-wednesday would leave you with less rest between some of the most difficult and important parts of the program.
Having less days between w2->w3 can be tough, but you should be fine for w4->w5 as the last workout on w4 shouldn't be too taxing (which is the part that's gonna matter most, as w3 is simply just accumulating more work, so results on that week aren't a big deal).

Hopefully this post doesn't sound too confusing to read through.

That's bullshit. No one is questioning his competency as an athlete, no, all the hate seems to stem around his social media presence and him being "whiny". Junior achievements absolutely do matter - that's why records are being broken, and not stagnating - and Layne agrees with that. But people would have him withdraw quietly and pretend he's never done a single good for the sport. Those are the retarded casuals who lack the ability to appreciate athleticism.

It's a fine line between injury and breaking records, and sure he made a mistake first time around (which is why he's withdrawn second time), but you make it sound as if he shouldn't have even attempted to, that he should have been conservative until open. But that's how potential dies. You can't compare casual lifting to the perpetual grind of champion athletes. Without his ability to climb like he has in juniors, he might not even have been competitive in PL in the first place.

If that's actually you though, then you shouldn't have too many problems gaining strength. Give SS a real run through, pretty much as written, with a couple accessories.

When I switched from a PPL to SS, I was at 185x3x8 bench, and I LPed all the way to a 250x3x5 bench. If you have the muscle, I'm fairly sure you can get far with LPing your pressing.

Give the 3x5 rep scheme a chance with your pressing, and try not to have too many accessories. I personally was better off without any accessory work for my pressing. I personally added back work for myself - chins on deadlift days and rows instead of power cleans, as well as ab wheel and that was it. Everything else was vanilla SS. If you still find that you can't progress your pressing, then you'll have to switch to Texas Method for it, or maybe one of the meme Nuckols programs.
