Doing high intensity doesn't seem to be much of an issue, specially if the trainee is having a good intake of protein.

Yeah you'll need to buy powerlifting specific wraps. I suggest inzer iron Zs (2m ofc), they are good for self wrapping. Aim to get them eight or nine times round your knees.

Reverse it. Work with high frequency on deadlifts and obviously lower it on squats. Deadlift at a high intensity for 1-2 session, then go into a routine of 5x5, 3x3 (tapering) and go for a max 3 or 2 reps. just as an example. Don't train at RPE 9 every session I recommend your efforts hover around 7+ . Also, invest more time purely on hypertrophy. So 5x5, 3x3, then singles/doubles every day, three days a week? Do you do any paused DLS or other variations? Honestly, you have to think for yourself if the risk outweighs the benefits - specially considering the plethora of other lifts that help increase your (thoracic or not) spinal erectors strength and provide a lot less "risk".
Though Rip has made a point that rounded-back exercises can be good for strongmen, as some of their lifts require a rounded back.
But if you're not a strongmen, there are less risky and just as effective alternatives.
