Daily Reminder people think these are cool and spend $2000 for a pair,
Rafthony Ricktano here, the internet's busiest fashion nerd, and it's time for a review of the new Rick Owens collection, Faun.
Paris-based fashion designer delivers a collection based on the ballet 'L'Après-Midi d'un Faune' in his instantly recognizable style.
FAV PIECES: AIRBLADE BOOTS, LONG PRINTED BOMBER
LEAST FAV PIECE: LONG OVERCOAT
RICK OWENS - FAUN / 2015 / SS
I'm feeling a strong 6 to a light 7 on this thing, tran
sition. If you've given this collection a look, what did you think of it? Did you love it? Did you hate it? Why? What do you think I should review next?
I will never understand the appeal to these shoes. There are very few Jordans that I can understand people liking, even myself considering, but these, along with nearly every other Jordan are just hideous...I really dont understand the appeal.
Meanwhile in Melbourne - a.k.a Neo-Beijing; fuccbois line up for the chance to win the opportunity to buy a cheap pair of shoes made buy a decent rapper turned ego-inflated pseudo-designer.
Paying with either Daddy's Xiang province sweatshop money, or 2 months of saving from working at Politix or Witchery Man ("wow I'm in the fashion industry - I made it") - these fuccbois will spend $450 on a pair of shoes that will bring up the value of their every day outfits to $580. And you better believe they will wear them with E V E R Y T H I N G and scoff at their mothers about "high fashion" and "the sneaker game" when asked about it at their family BBQ or dumpling feast.
A local store held a raffle for a chance to be able to purchase the boosts, but nobody fucking read the contest info and just saw "BOOST CONTEST" and now they've announced winners and everyone is crying because they thought they just win them.
No winner actually bought the boosts kek
Was that Sneakerboy? Because same thing there - you don't win the shoes - just the chance to buy them. I wonder how many poor kids are going to beg Mum and Dad once their names are drawn out.
What hit a nerve in that post? Are you a rich privative gook or wasting your life away in retail? Or maybe just still in Uni collecting benefits?
Besides, I'm not even salty. $450 is pocket change and I hate the shoe.
Also if he wiped the grin off his face. If you're gonna go for that look, you don't need to be looking approachable. A knowing grin or a smirk that leads others to wonder what he's smiling about would lend to that appearance much better.
Yeah, its not. But the smarter thing to do is claim the benefits you're entitled to without working, and set your part time work to the amount you can earn before it effects your benefits. (or collect benefits and work 20 hours a week cash in hand: feels good man)
