I'm on a budget and I need something to keep light to mid snow out this winter. I like the Earthkeepers, but I'm worried they might have too much detail to match my parka. Thoughts?

just got these. be aware the sk8 hi and the sk8 hi xstuff reissue are totally different materials: the regular is canvas and $60 while the xstuff is a rubber(?) coated leather and $85. that being said, the xstuff sk8 hi is a lot more solidly built than the normal sk8 hi and looks great. in terms of sizing, I am a wide foot so I'm usually a 11.5 in vans/converse but I had to size down in these. good luck!

It's not leather. It's reinforced canvas. The normal sk8 hi is normal canvas and a suede toe box.
