It varies with brand and how close the two models are, but yeah the upper's materials do make a big difference.
For example the same shoe with a knit upper and a suede upper would most likely fit quite differently since you'd want the knit to hug your foot, but on the suede model you'd want to have more room since it doesn't give in as much. The sole is going to stay the same, so the upper is what makes up the difference.
Some examples that I know would be mesh vs pk nmd and ultra boost vs the eqt support ultra, where on both comparisons the sole stays same but upper changes.

Just from images I'd imagine those huaraches fit the same since the upper is the same (other is just "uncaged") and there really isn't that much difference on the sole.

I always try out different models in store just so if I stumble on a good deal or a new cw online I already know the right size. Sometimes I order two different sizes and return the one that doesn't fit, but that's only when the return is free.

The pride of the 70's is a bit too retro imo. It's a fun cw, but I think the white is much cleaner and will go with different fits better.

I was pretty disappointed, as I didn't expect the 70's cw to have so much hype. I'm not about to pay $230 resale for a pair of made in china adidas either. Really surprised they sold out though, and adidas will probably continue their shit tier idea of never making good colorways again, just like how they did with the original NMD.


Hype just ruins some sneakers. Its a legitimately cool shoe and would be cool even if it wasn't hyped. There aren't many retro runners out there that don't look like complete ass (Looking at you, Nike with your roshe/cortez abomination) and have decent tech+materials.

Same upper but more comfy due to the boost midsole. Not that much pricier and you often find them on sale for the same price as the RF's retail. Currently only 90€ on the european adidas site.

I like the wool grey cw and they don't come up that often where I live. I know the condition isn't great and that's why I don't know what would be a reasonable price.
I've just been wanting the wool greys for so long and this would probably be an opportunity to get them for cheap. Clean the boost and throw them in the washing machine and they'll look as good as new. The outsole is the only thing I'm worried about.

Adidas is the master of ridiculous pricing as of late. A trainer with non-existent structural support, some mesh glued onto styrofoam for $120 (with occasional defects). lmao

Btw quite a few /fa/gs who own it said already, that Inikis are cheaply made.

If the guy had read the reviews concerning the quality just on the Adidas website, maybe he wouldn't have gotten them at all. Even some of those who rated them with 4 or 5 stars had some negative comment on the quality.

If someone knows this, he shouldn't expect much and won't start to cry in the corner, when the shoes arrive with a small defect, which won't be even noticeable, when he actually starts to wear the shoe.

It's pure luck that he didn't get the red blue ones, where the color bleeds over the stripes, even onto the styrofoam. It's a pretty cool self-customizing feature for a $120 mass product. It's almost as artisan as the paint splattered gats.

We are talking about the EQT support ultra primeknit, right? Definitely not made to be a performance shoe. It has the ultra boost sole, which is made for running, but I highly doubt that they have made the primeknit upper with performance in mind.
On the adidas site they show up under EQT and Originals, not running.
EQT is just a line of sneakers under the Originals brand these days, however some models still come in the dark equpment box. It's not it's own inhouse brand anymore.
Most new EQT's come in the blue box and have the trefoil branding.

93/16 is suede and ultra is synthetic suede. No difference in sizing
I'd go half size up on those, so if your sambas are 9.5 go for a 10. I have the 93/16 and the half size up from my gazelles feels good. The upper fits quite snug width wise and the suede doesn't really give in that much, so the half size up gives your forefoot a bit more room.
