The IEMs I own are Shure SE215's. Great sound quality for the price, cable can be replaced.
I do wear headphones, also in public. Nothing beats the sound quality of a good pair of headphones. I look autistic already anyway because I am one and in that regard a lost case. But I also was hoping it would make strangers realize I do not want to talk to them. Apparently that doesn't work.
My favourite pair are my Sennheiser HD 25-C II's. Other probably think they look ridiculous, but I think their design is amazing. Sound quality is pretty good, pretty neutral sound signature.
At home I use a pair of Sony MDR-7506's. Sound is okay but not as rich at the others. More suited for watching videos than listening to music, imo.
Get the Sony EX650AP, they look good and sound even better.

Just get some cheap chink shit: Pistons, KZs, Zircons, etc. Or get some MA750s, Shures, etc. Save up for good headphones instead.
Nobody knows anything about audio equipment anyways unless it's says 'Bose' or 'Beats' plastered on the side

The Beats trend is over. There are still people who use it or buy even new ones but that are also the people who listen to radio music regularly
>>12403386
>The Beats trend is over
Doesn't change the fact that they are easily recognized and well known

Some nice Audio Technicas for home
If you're out and about just wear apple earbuds
If you're worrying about audio fidelity when you're walking around in public though you should probably just avoid leaving the house in the first place

black 4th gen ipod shuffle with basic ass sennheiser mx 170 earphones, this is what i rock
>>12403381
This, got myself KZ ED9s, didn't expect they'd get complimented so often for their looks, but people love them.
Apple earpods are the only fashionable way to go in public
But yeah, a ATH-M50x or something nice like that for home for sure.

Over ears are not best quality what are you even on about??
>>12403523
>implying IEMs are
wow
>>12403361
Well that is not exactly true. I prefer the sound of headphones, because the design makes everything sound a bit more intense in my opinion. Sounds slightly compressed in a way. Maybe it is just a mental thing, but become more sucked in the experience in a way. Especially when they block the outside noise well.
But there are also IEMs out there which can provide incredible audio quality, and if you buy good ones they can sound better than a pair of headphones. Both options can be just as good, just depends on your preference and practicality and stuff.

If you don't want to drop a ton of money seinheiser produces decent ear buds that don't look autistic. If that's still out of your range Sony makes the cheapest decent earbuds
I use sennheiser inears when I'm out and Grado headphones when I'm home
