Yeah I decided to give it a go trimming my own hair since my barber was booked full. Didn't go too well :)

i'm same but worse. buzzcut doesn't work for me because i don't have the facial/bone/head structure that supports it well enough. i cut my own hair and find that a number 2 clipper guards + 8 (the highest i have) on top and i let the top grow out 2 weeks and its perfect length on top but i have to go back over on the sides with number 2 guard. this is what best works for me with my receding hairline. its pretty bad and i'm 24 btw
