I've had terrible posture too. years of sitting behind desk as a teen, and no sport turned me into Quasimodo mode. Now, that I go to gym it's getting much better every week, but there's still place for improvements. There are few things you can do to improve:

>watch yt videos on body mobilisation and train it at home
you need to mobilise your hamstrings, spine, hips, shoulders. Probably more if you spent lot of time sitting in wrong position. Your body gets used to wrong patterns and sometimes it feel weird and awkward when you try to stand right.

>hit a gym
here you need a routine to strengthen the muscles that are too loose and stretch those too tight. For example if you see like the girl on left, you need to strengthen your lats and rhomboids while stretching traps and pecs because they are antagonist muscles (like biceps and triceps are antagonists for each other). Go ask /fit/.

>go to a specialist
Best way is to ask someone who is educated in body anatomy and bio-mechanics. They will tell you the best methods to strengthen your whole body without crippling yourself. Yoga is great for that, just make sure that yoga instructor is educated, not some random hippie.

>heathism intensifies

on the posture note, I've been trying to improve it for a year now

my metod is literally telling myself "get your shit together, straighten that back". At the beginning it felt insanely weird, but I'm getting the hang of it now.

I started to pay attention to it ever since I realised I was a manlet. I may not reach the decent height, but that is only more reasons not to hit the hunchback quota.

i keep trying to keep my back straight, and a couple minutes late i realize ive hunched over again.

Try to link it with a bad habit or even a good or neutral habit you have. I crack my fingers a lot so I just remind myself to straighten up everytime I pop my fingers. Or if you smoke, or even going to the restroom. Ever obsses over something stupid? You can force yourself to remember this.

Last time I got measured (late highshool) I was 5'7'', and I doubt it changed over few years.

By the way, keeping the correct posture is a bit tricky when you're a manlet, cause if you overcommit, you start to look like a dwarf desperately grasping for air.

It's fine to keep your back straight, just don't forcefully push your chest up, these few milimeters ain't worth looking like a retard.

That helps for the upper back. As for lower, being on my feet more helped me a bit.
