I'm no expert so I'm only assuming. Anyway if you get stabbed by normal knife with one or two edges the wound is going to be pretty flat and easy to just grab skin above and sewn. While this weird fuck has three edges and probably makes wound more like hole than rip in skin. idk tho.

I would encourage eveyone to get at least a basic folder. Kershaw makes decent cheap knives (the speed safe will break quickly) and the Spyderco SS and Opinel are good for non locking blades. Great for opening packages, cutting tape, being prepared, etc.
