The key is to add something after 1 or 2 days to remove grease without needing shampoo. I recommend cocoa powder and then water-only shower, if you have brown hair. Worked for me

I want to get a hair cut really badly because I've been not too into my hair lately, but I'm not too sure what I can really pull off with this mess.

I also really want to improve my hair health and texture, I use conditioner every day, and shampoo once or twice a week, and use BoC clay pomade to have some hold. Not too sure if there's much else that can be done though but I haven't been a fan of how my hair has felt it's not very soft and tends to look just very odd to me

I've been straightening my hair ever since junior high because my hair looks so fucking stupid by itself (I'm a guy). Up until recently I used Tigi Bedhead Matte Separation Wax, but the fuckers changed their formula and the product is now shit. Old one contained beeswax and I don't know what else. It was the perfect product desu, currently using some waterbased stuff from Uppercut Deluxe, I think it's called Featherweight Wax, but it's not what I want out of a hair product.

Don't cut it too short, but get rid of all of the hair which you can see underneath your ears when looking in a mirror. You also may want to try side swept bangs.
Either that or just get a head/hair band and keep it as is, you have nice hair. Any mistake you could make would involve cutting it too short.

How do those with wavy curly hair keep their hair flat and straight for cuts like the standard undercut?

I've been told to use and am using water based pomade but it seems to only do the job half way and as time goes on my hair becomes messy again.
