This is my experience with them, yeah. I think it's partly because they're such a malleable and unstructured shirt.


Level tees have a super high and rigid neckline, if you're looking for that in a tee. It's possible that the DRKSHDW double layered level tees would be like that as well.

I've been breaking in a pair of MMM sidezips for about a year now and they're only just becoming malleable in the heel cup. Though I only wear them a couple of times a month now a days.

Also the cotton one is "unstable" and has that weird twisting effect going on, where a silk blend one is a straight tube of fabric. Both will stack hella good, just slightly different effects.

Sizing on UC ones is pretty lenient, you can go down a size and it'll stretch very quick. I've heard the sizing on silk blends runs pretty small, and you should size up.

How much of an effect does the twisted/biased seam have on stacking?

I have a double layer from faun where the seam of the inside shirt is slightly biased, and the seam of the outside shirt is straight down (see photo).

I want to know if a completely curved / biased seam would stack better

The twisted seam of the /UC double layers means they can never be layed flat, therefore they stack without and need to do anything. Its not entirely the seam, its how the two layers are positioned before being sewn.

That looks about the same as my vicious one after it gets stretched out. If I want it to stack higher I wash it pretty frequently (Pic related), as they stretch to look much straighter after a pretty short time. After a while though, things lose their ability to go back to shape perfectly.

Thanks for the feedback guys. How do you wash yours? It looks like you maybe handwash and dry on a towel. I have yet to wash my faun shirt. It feels extremely soft and susceptible to tearing.

Hold out for the UC, it's well worth it. Viscose blend is a really good shirt, but it's a much "cleaner" sort of look than the rippled/flowy stacks you get on a cotton one. Also, the silk/viscose feels pretty confining, where the cotton is breathable and light.

I would get the drkshdw ones. They're less expensive and a great starter Rick shoe. If you decide you like Rick and want to build up a wardrobe, you have a solid, year round shoe you can wear with multiple pieces/fits

Long shot but here it goes.. I bought a pair of Geos last year from Farfetch, when they arrived the sole smelled reallly good, like someone poured a lot of perfume on it. After wearing the shoes probably like 50 times in all types of weather the smell is still there, not as much, but you can still smell it. I absolutely love the smell. The only difference is that slave jackets have an angled collar that stays flat to the chest (pic related), while the jacket you posted has a slouchy and straight collar. It's not a worker, since that would be more like a classic denim jacket - and the collar would just looked like a popped collar.

It has the same square, flat design that an exploder has.

i found a pair of geobaskets for sale for $300.
the only problem is that there is damage to the interior leather, on the heel, and one of the zippers is completely shot, and would need to be replaced. the laces are also replacement, but they look fine. exterior leather and soles look pretty great, as they are aged a couple years. should i try to buy and fix them, or see if i can get a cheaper price? or is it not worth the trouble?

I'm a 5'8" manlet so it's going to look even longer on me anyway, however the tailored pods I'm wearing are kinda wide and since they're thick cotton they hold their shape which makes the tunic a little harder to pull down compared to the prisoners I wore last thread.

There is no bottom hem or sewing, just this puckered lil shirt butthole.

It's a tube of fabric folded in on itself (prolapsed) and then either end of the tube is joined at the shoulder seams. The only stitching is at the back of the shirt to form the tube and at the neck/shoulder/sleeve area.
