Any reccs for good backpacks that go with Rick? I like the tote bags but they aren't super conducive to biking to campus.

Not looking for anything too extravagent or expensive, since I've only got another year or so where I'll probably need a backpack.

Is it your first Rick or your first geos? Classic colorway as your first Rick doesn't usually lend itself to good fits, I think the solid ones work much better as transition pieces (and generally look better)

Having a hard time deciding which geos i wanna cop in the sale, I'm starting to really like the details of the cyclops geos now but not sure if they're too flamboyant. Also see a lot of people ragging on the OG colorway but i'm not feeling the all blacks really. Only have memphis and techrunners though.

I was in a similar boat. It was nice seeing the other colors cheaper but I don't think I could've made em work well or felt comfortable in em. I'm not sure why the og colorway has become a pariah here, but I said fuck it and got em anyway. I fell in love with the original color way from the start when I first set out to own geos. I guess my advice is get what really makes you happy is more important than making fa happy.

DL makes it more interesting for sure, I don't think pinrolling really adds anything though and you really don't need to taper the jeans but up to how you feel about it honestly.
Ones fits don't need to be extravagant or something never seen before, you look plenty fucking fine man.
The most important thing after all is to feel comfortable in your clothes.

This brand is basically an attempt to make womens clothing wearable for men. It is crossdressing. Those sock boots are obviously a womens style with a unisex sole. the baggy drappy clothes to hide your masculine body type, no color to not appear feminine.

What's girlish about the oversized stuff for example? I think of Rick as futurism of some sort, the androgyny and the "core" visible beneath huge clothes (i.e. legs sticking out of big shorts, the slim midsection of his shirts vidible beneath a large jacket), sort of like a cyborg where a layer is peeled off, showing the metal skeleton inside. At least that's one embodyment of his many aspects, and the one he aderes to himself.

Ricks really talented so it doesn't look girlish but I can just tell he takes girly clothes and edits them to look acceptable for me. example: this style is long but stops at the legs, it's baggy and "flowy", it's like he wanted to masculinze a womans dress. I was browsing ssense and these Rick Owens were the most expensive shoes they had. Do you have wear Rick Owens with Rick Owens, though? The most expensive pants, shirt, and coat were from other designers. This was the first outfit I've picked out. They are very beat! I picked up canvas Ramones sort of with the intention of completely wrecking them. I like how the upper looks a lot (that picture is several months old, just gets reposted a lot, so they're even more beat now). As for the sole, it does wear fairly quick if you use them for a lot of walking/activity. My geos are a year old and the bottoms are half as flat as my Ramones (6 months old) so it really does depend on how you treat them - and resoling is pretty easy. The uppers are bulletproof, I've put them through hell.
