For me, FAUN was my favorite show. It left my jaw on the floor in a way no other presentation had, agender alien vibes.. However, LIMO had my favorite pieces to actually wear. The layering of tunics just does it for me.

I've never bought any used shoes, and I would generally advise against it unless they're very lightly used. Leather shoes in particlur break in to the shape of the wearer's foot, so they're likely to be much less comfortable if they've been heavily worn by someone else.

Oldest thing I bought was a jacket from 3 years ago. It was in pretty good condition and I don't even consider the fact that it was used when I wear it.

Help me out /ROG/

Been working out and cycling alot lately and my legs are starting to get hueg. Now when I wear my Acne Aces I'm beginning to look more like a sausage than anything else. I've been wanting to get a pair of Rick denim for a while and I think this is a pretty good excuse to pull the trigger.

What would you recommend in terms of cut? Still want a skinnier fit but making my legs look like tubed meat is not something I enjoy

So I've been wondering this as well. I haven't seen a pair of Ramones with the flat silver pull, unlike Plinth which did use them. I'm pretty sure they didn't make Ramones with the Island pull. I also know that these certainly aren't any earlier than that because Totokaelo didn't purchase men's clothing any sooner than Island. I'm in love with deerskin geobaskets but I've never seen a pair that didn't get a huge crack along the toe box (see https://www.grailed.com/listings/362682-rick-owens-deerskin-geobasket as well as many other grailed listings). Is this just unavoidable on the more delicate leather? It's enough to put me off tracking down a pair, even though they're my dream geos. I really like the way they age in terms of color and texture but that rip is just too much for me.

AFAIK this is true of some shoes but doesn't carry over to a lot of clothing. The vicious embroidery on bombers is specific to the season, where the on bombers from moody have "moody" embroidery and different lyrics on the inside. There are plenty of seconds that make it to market. These are not bespoke small run goods. They are produced in a factory (albeit a reputable one). I've received plenty of defective designer garments, even Rick. The last pair of pods I bought were defective and needed an exchange. The butt pocket had two of the same side of Velcro sewn on, fortunately they were able to get a replacement directly from HQ.
My girlfriend and I were at a garage sell at Totokaelo this weekend where they had a number of defective Rick for really cheap, including a pair of the clog socks where the foot hole was sewn too small to fit a foot in. And everybody is aware of the vicious ankle boots that had SEVERE pink soles, they had a pair of those sell for $100.

So In america it was $800, but I accidentally overshot and selected "Vanuatu", which made the price $300 less (with expected import fees). In general yes, but I sort of doubt that any rick sneakers or rickdidas are different. Same with margom soles- no narrow widths. The sock runners for example would need double the number of lasts and patterns and molds for all women's and men's sizes that overlap. Even geos and welted creepers are super wide in women's sizes.

Geobaskets are a grail of mine, what got me into Rick Owens initially, and next paycheck I'll have enough to cop. Two questions:
1. Is it a bad idea to buy Geos as my first Rick piece? They don't seem too hard to work with, but I'd like some second opinions. (Planning on the classic black/milk colorway, by the way.)
2. Should I wait for a sale? If so, when's the next sale period? I always miss out because I'm not in the know of when clothing goes on sale besides the winter holidays.

1) I got geobaskets as my first piece, and it worked out really well for me. Make sure you have slim black jeans and some looser fitting tops, that's most of what it takes. They do mesh better with full Rick, but I think it's best to start with footwear - you can't really wear pods and a double layer with anything but ricks, but you can wear Rick shoes with other fits.

2) I definitely wouldn't pay full price for them, with where sale prices have been going. Grailed has a few pairs up, and there might be some leftover from the previous winter sale if you scout around. But otherwise, next sale season won't be for a few months at least.
