(look for threads with the word MOD in them.)
Challenge idea to get things started.
Take one of some of your characters and show what they were like at different ages. What they were like a little kid, what they'll be like as an adult, etc..
I just played around with the code you posted. It's really awesome!
I made one of these for Klara about a half year back (this challenge came up before).
Lina Hawkins from the Royce Piedmont Academy
aite, here's Bleeding Heart in her weirdass Marilyn Manson stage:
Thanks, she became a master of martial arts after she got through college and sorted out her shit.
I'll have to think on what character to do next.
Yes, she's packing heat. Also scars do tend to heal over time, or she just didn't like how they looked? eeh
Either she finally got her craziness sorted out and settled down into a fairly normal life, but has to fend off people who want revenge on her,
Or she's just gotten much better at hiding her craziness, it's hard to tell.
Zero/negative values for leg and torso length don't look as bad as I expected.
Not sure where you get that... does little girl with twintails automatically equal Vietnamese prostitute?
Also, not Asian.
FWIW, not that anyone really cares, Valera is my kisekae representation of a NPC from a D&D campaign that is a cleric of Red Knight, a god of strategy under Tempus that uses a knight chess piece as a symbol so I occasionally toss that iconography on her clothes. That's pretty much it though as far as kisekae goes, it isn't a RP thing.
Her kisekae body model is generally the one I go back to when I'm trying out things in the program as it's my favorite of the ones I've created so I end up using her a lot as a base to experiment with hair and outfits.
Angie from pre-teen to high schooler to adult glamour model
Last I checked people have both eyelashes and lips that most of the time have a darker coloration from the skin of the face, so that doesn't automatically mean makeup; I go for a much brighter red if I'm trying to do actual lipstick and I prefer to add lashes to the kisekae default eyes. I've gotten so used to using facemarks to represent lips that the lack of them makes the faces look odd and unfinished to me.
You can have drawn-in eyelashes that don't mean that character is wearing mascara. For an example of a little girl with drawn lashes, have a Nanako.
One thing I like about the challenge is that it can potentially portray 'story' as the ages go along.
Like here for instance. Vasuda here got lost in the wilderness when she was young. And then survived thanks to discovering a weird control animals ability and being really good with a bow. So she made it back as a teen, but then has missed out on a lot of important education stuff, and as a result she then has to work her way up from being an adult entertainer to having her powers discovered, and then subsequently becoming some sort of agent. and it just so happened that she didn't have a lot of clothing in two of those phases.
Kind of similar case here, really.
I tried to make some characters from a game I really like. Do you think I got it?
Well... in the sense that they're wearing the same clothing, sure. I'd be surprised if you could do better using K-Kisekae, but that's in part because the program really isn't suited to recreating anything from Psychonauts. K-ON models just can't get that slightly warped, slightly grotesque charm that permeates the game clear through, and also I've never seen a "boy" made in this program that didn't have girl hips. Raz is scrawny, but he's certainly not effeminate.
If we had this program, but with base models from Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt instead of K-ON, then Psychonauts could be made wonderfully.
(technically Tori and Karen are heroes though as it turns out.)
Going way over/going negative with slider values opens up a lot of stylistic venues for making weird Kisekae characters. Especially with things one might not think of, like leg-bottom width and eye sizes. Though it's way easier to make simplistic or stylized faces with all the tools provided. Sadly, the arm slider doesn't seem to uncap properly and the hands always remain very delicate.
In messing around, I actually discovered something: If you make the size of the head WAY huge (the 'chin' sliders, with width and height that is) there's actually a normally-shaped bald head behind the hair! Whaaat, come on pochi/whoever makes this program, there's an easy way to make a bald option!
>and also I've never seen a "boy" made in this program that didn't have girl hips
For more "slender" males, I give them a butt/thigh width of around -70, and a torso width around 0-10, just "a tad wider than to actually meet the hip outline" (may or may not be edited in PS or whatever program, afterwards).
Looks somewhat convincing to me, YMMV though ...
Also, shoulder width around 150. This is rather essential, although that "extra meat" under their arms starts to look weird when you move the arms up ...
Also, some face shaping using very subtle patches of #30 facemarks.
Lips are facemark #41, btw.
Also, this is how I ended up shaping noses for now. Tried around with many different approaches of that "outline-highlight-shadow"-thing, until I just skipped the "outline" at some point.
Note #1: been following this somewhat "realistic" approach for a while now, dunno if you like it. The "I've just been getting used to how they look" thing gets really strong after a while ...
Note #2: my cheapo monitor apparently has its very own idea of color saturation and gamma curves. On my laptop for instance, these screenshots tend to look quite a bit darkish and desaturated. Just FYI ...
Man. I've seen lots of images in these threads.
Quite a few of them I would describe as "mediocre" due to the lack of time and effort put into them, or "weird" because of the creators odd/poor tastes.
But this is the first thing I've seen that's just straight up unpleasant to look at.
Nah, sack mett's English is too good for him to be sachmet.
Of course this doesn't change the fact that the image rams straight into the uncanny valley, but the explanation is devoid of exclamation points and nonsensical references to how Berlin has ugly policemen or whatever.
>Mystique from the X-men movies
>Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen
>Despair from The Sandman
>Princess Ruto from Ocarina of Time
>Princess Sally frum the Archie Sonic comics
Characters that are mostly to always naked. That is all.
The key to eliminating girlyhips on dudes is basically using one of the wider waist settings and perhaps reducing butt size a bit. This would make sense since actually a lot of sexual attraction's based around the waist-to-hip ratio (aka an hourglass figure), so eliminating that goes a long way to making a guy look masculine. Then there's a ton of face stuff that depends on stylistics and crap.
It totally wasn't part of her plan to lose the shirt, but here's how she pulls it off.
the image is just some dumb excuse to show off male characters while also technically not breaking /e/ rules lol.
it's me the entire thread is just me posting repeatedly.
Oh lord, I'm so lonely.
My only "age progression" pictures have been posted before, so have this instead.
Wow. I mean, I'm not even mad - just surprised. Am I really so far off with these characters? How can i believe they are - well, definitely not "perfect", but at least, um, kinda ... nice, and the rest of the world goes fully donotwant? Really gets me thinking ...
>The key to eliminating girlyhips on dudes is basically using one of the wider waist settings and perhaps reducing butt size a bit. Yep, quite this.
I can see what you're going for, which is, to say, not cute anime girls. Please keep it /ecchi/, pantsu and kawaii expressions should be a requirement.
This is all just my personal opinion, but as a fan of most peoples works posted here theres clearly certain people who are clearly just trolling these threads. Sachmet for one, ignores us all and continues to samefag and praise his own nonsense. Then there's >>1859258 which, being honest, I can't tell if they are male or female, but /e/ is not for dudes. So please regulate your posts.
>the squashed faces
Well, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "squashed", but at least something helpful, eventually. Thanks for that!
Actually, I really wanted to get away from those typical "huge heads with even bigger eyes on tiny shoulders". As in "more realistic", even if just to "some" extent.
So I tried to give them actual chins, moved the eyes way up with the eyebrows almost directly above, tried to shape their noses more like that really dominant part of a face they always are IRL.
Actually imported quite a few jb photos into the game screen for comparison. Found out that, to get closer to where I wanted, I had to make their shoulders much wider (around 120 to 160, actually) and their heads much smaller (somewhere between -100 and -150 at a general body height around 60). Facial proportions are still quite far away from actual IRL, but - IMHO - much better than the default K-On chicks for instance. (At some point I even tried to make an actual Rowan Blanchard cover, this totally didn't work out though ...)
Anyway, that's about how I ended up with what you see ... Most annoying downsides are those long and thin necks, and elsewhere, the huge thigh gaps, and triangle-shaped feet though.
But I've kinda gotten used to see those, apparently ...
>try to make robots ala OP
>get distracted, end up making some kind of shadow creature
I'm okay with this.
Also got inspired by to take a crack at making a frankenstein's monster
>not cute anime girls
Well, yeah, probably. See my lengthy post in between: >>1859297
>Please keep it /ecchi/
I actually just chimed in because someone mentioned male body shapes, and I thought I had something to contribute. Didn't really expect those reactions though, had to post something about it. Aside from that, got your memo :3
>which, being honest, I can't tell if they are male or female
Lena and Rebecca aren't too pleased about this (but I'll spare you some reaction image).
You can't really make a character in this game look both 'realistic' and good due to the highly symbolic nature of it's style. Although, if you want to try, you might want to go to >>>/ic/ and read the sticky.
Can you put a picture you used as model next to one of the characters you made from it? (Censor, if necessary.) It'd be easier to show where everything went wrong when you have a direct comparison. Pic related from about a year ago; now with facemarks.
Noyce - as a matter of fact, it was exactly that post from many months ago which convinced me to try and actually follow that kind of brick road further (with most of my characters already existing in earlier, more conventional versions).
As for your pic from now, I'd definitely say, make that head even more narrow (and probably longer), shoulders wider, butt is still too big ... but this would probably lead to an unfortunate trade-in at other features, again.
As for using hair parts for the neck: I (ab)use head tilts to simulate "looking at each other" so often that I never really went into that (same with using several hidden characters for more elements to play with - as much as I totally appreciate what people like mouse achieve at that, I want to keep those guys "portable" and be able to just quickly mess a bit with head tilt or arm position without having to readjust over 9000 hair bits ...).
>You can't really make a character in this game look both 'realistic' and good
Dunno - "good" is pretty relative here. I started to "work" with kisekae more than 2 years ago, and everytime I made major changes on my characters, the older versions soon started to look quite ridiculous to me - exactly those I considered quite "good" just a few weeks before.
I think it's really much about what you expect to see, what you are used to see, what you have seen right before (also "photos of real persons" or "anime characters"), and especially what you have happily ignored for so long, just to get "that" very special aspect that brings you sooo incredibly close to how you always wanted her to look like ...
(Board complained about TL;DR)
>Can you put a picture you used as model next to one of the characters you made from it?
I can't - neither made screenshots nor saves from these experiments. Also, aside from that one attempt at Rowan B. (which mostly failed because of her slightly pear-shaped head, which definitely isn't available in kisekae), I never actually tried to copy existing persons again.
Lena (left one of those two posted above) really has at least 10 different "mothers", her dad (that gray-haired guy next to her on my earlier post) started as my first attempt ever to make a male character until he suddenly looked quite a bit like my older cousin, so I tried to emphasize certain features, lost track, went elsewhere ...
I used Brighton Sharbino images only to get closer to that very medium blonde hair color (which IMO always looks way too greenish when using Pochi's presets) on another girl who is currently "parked" in a text file, because I'm not happy with her for other reasons ...
W.A. Bouguereau (look him up at wikipedia for examples) gave me quite a few hints on faces ...
btw, this is the earliest version of Lena I ever sreencapped.
Gee, Derrick. How come your mom let's you have TWO girlfriends?
I found this Mabel and Pacifica on DA and now I use them as a size comp for my younger girls. Right now I've only made two girls from preexisting sources.
>The goth chicks looks like Betty Boop.
D-does that make it worse or better?
Here's my attempt. Making good young versions is hard.
I've had this on the backburner for a while (long enough that I doubt anyone remembers Coille (i'm trying to reuse characters and post more than once every 3 months i swear)), so I finally decided to finish it up. Was originally going to have three adventurers, but I ran out of space.
I'm trying to go for a more semi-90's look to my characters (closer to something like http://www.zerochan.net/899558 instead of http://www.zerochan.net/1921232), back when the gap between nose and mouth were a wee bit closer (if that's the "squished" look your talking about). But I could be doing it all wrong--wouldn't be the first or last.
I think the problem might be eye height, normally on a face, the top of the nose would align with the middle of the eyes when open, on your old ones that was the case, now the top of the nose aligns more with the top of the eyes, gives the impression the eyes sit too low on the face, that's my take on it at least.
Eye shadow's way too heavy on 3 and 4 imo, lipstick would work, but it's gotta be shaped more to a lip like shape, it looks just like a black circle slapped on as it currently stands.
Turns out using telekinesis in a private school isn't exactly smiled upon. Especially when paired with pent up irritation from bullying and isolation from inexplicably having a third eye, so after tearing a significant chunk out of the place she sort of got expelled.
And then almost put into juvy, except she decided for some reason she'd attempt to erase everyone's memory about the whole incident, but that worked too well and caused everybody immediately related to her to kind of forget who she was entirely, so then homeless happened.
However, only superhero agencies who'd probably keep really explicit tabs on this sort of stuff remembered who she was, so she managed to get lucky and got a shot at redeeming that whole fiasco.
I kinda wanna bring back daily challenges. How about Yanderes? Be it an existing character, or your own character.
Can you do the eye shadow more like so? I know she's a weird goth, but eye shadow is really only supposed to go on the top lid.
Here's a yan reaction to rejection.
I kinda like her.
Imma get this makeup lookin' right if it kills me.
Jeez man it shouldn't be this complicated.
Put the markings slightly above the center of the eye so only the top of the oval sticks out (you can make it higher the heavier you want the makeup to look), and actually rotate them around to match the angle of the eyes.
And I don't know if this is just a personal choice by you or an oversight, but if I were making a black-and-white character i'd probably turn the very clearly not black-and-white face blush off.
She isn't black and white, her skin is just insanely pale because she's a goth. Think Raven from the Teen Titans cartoon.
I kind of like the eyeshadow the way it is now - to the point where I jumped the gun and added it to her other costumes.
I really like Caroline's new look. Her eyeshadow is tamed but a little messy - but I think that's okay because she is a weird, anti-social goth chick with a skin condition.
I'm having a lot of fun and I ended up really enjoying the criticism I got.
>Merona was a street urchin from a young age
>Scraping by on coin from begging and making a few purses disappear
>After being caught stealing bread from the town market the judge decided to take pity on her
>Instead of jail and execution she became a servant of the rulers house
>From there she was discovered for her natural talents in magic and sent to study under the head mage
>Specializing in necromancy and illusion magic she now serves as one of the royal court advisers, specifically in matters concerning the local dead, or undead
>She is 2nd in line for the title of Head Vizier under her master
What do you guys think about her?
Also, I can't think of a name.
11/11 is the Pocky & Pretz Day!!!!! (with Rin-chan)
>Rixyl was a farmer's daughter and regular spitfire from a young age, always picking fights with the older kids of the village. Many of the adults in the village feared that the fighting would ultimately lead to the life of a bandit.
>All of that changed, however, when a roving band of raiders ripped through the village. Vardesh, an Orc barbarian passing through town, helped Rixyl and the rest of the villagers defeat the brigands and save their home.
>It was then that Rixyl Realized that she was a big fish in a small pond and, after saying her farewells to her family and friends, left with Vardesh to learn the ways of the barbarian.
>The barbarian brought Rixyl back to his clan as for her to better learn the ways of the barbarian.
>Vardesh explained to his new Elven ward that the ways of the barbarian were arduous and fraught with danger and that a lifestyle of battle and austerity was required.
>He then gave her a set of leather armor and marked her face with ram's blood, the mark of a warrior, Vardesh explained,. He also explained that, when her training was complete, she could chose a mark of her own.
>15 years later, a small elven village sees the return of one of their own. After having become both a full-fledged barbarian and the mother of three darling but rambunctious Orc boys, Rixyl and her new family have since moved back in with her old family.
>Rixyl now dedicates most of her time to chasing of bandits and protecting the local farmstead from monsters. Most of the children of the village look up to her as a role model, much to the chagrin of her peers.
I think I'm having way to much fun with this shit...
>Born into a large and growing family, Ziqua was the daughter of the head plutarch of the Dwarven capital of Giledzar. Many a fellow plutarch believed that Ziqua would follow in her mother's footsteps and take her place when she came of age.
>Ziqua, however, despite being quite shy for a noble child, was known for being quite wise and outspoken for a child. She was mare interested with keeping her home safe from those who would wish to do her family harm.
>Therefore, Ziqua had decided to join the Platinum Guard, the Dwarves who guard the Council of the Coin and keepers of order in the halls of Giledzar.
>Ten years down the line and Ziqua goes down in the history books as the youngest Dwarf to be recruited into the Platinum Guard.
>A year after her recruitment, Ziqua saves the life of her mother from a would-be assassin. The Council of the Coin then promote her to the rank of Captain.
>After a series of skirmishes that ended with the destruction of a splinter cell, Ziqua, Captain of the Platinum Guard, settles down at the age of 25 and marries the son of a renowned architect and births a family almost double the size of her own.
>Five years later, A group of thieves attempts (and fails) to break into to Vaults of Giledzar.
>The thieves manage to escape empty handed, but manage to leave behind a strange emblem. The Council is in an uproar as they try to find the best person for the job.
>Ziqua is brought before the council and is called back into action. She humbly accepts her mission and kisses her husband and children goodbye, promising to return as soon as she can.
>After trailing the thieves for a couple of months, her search takes her to the small farming village of Aravyn. The Elves seem more than happy to aid her in her hunt for the thieves.
>All except for self-proclaimed "Local Champion"...
Nah I think it's just the jacking off. Most of the time people are asking for codes of really simple characters. And even when they do ask for complex ones they certainly don't seem to be retaining any of the complex parts or learning to do them themselves.
So yeah. I'm guessing they just take the code, take the characters clothes off, put them in simple sexual poses and fap.
Man I hate having to try and hide hair. Really wish that bald option existed even for weird crap like this.
also happy 4th anniversary of skyrim existing or something I guess
I just don't see the point. Every body looks almost exactly the same. The poses are quite limited, and given the relative skill level of most people in these threads with the program, that's even less poses you could ever possibly put them in. Seems like you'd just constantly be fapping to the exact same thing.
Plus, you're now officially on the same mental level as Sachmet. Just let that sink in. How it feels to be the same as him.
>That perfect Katia
I'm fuming with jealousy because I remember making one of her that wasn't even that good and being terribly sad that I lost it.
Now let's think about what we're saying for just a minute here.
Hitler's art is actually worth something. Not on its own merits, I hear, but there are people who will pay cash moneys for it. Sachmet... could not achieve this.
You misunderstand. Sachmitler isn't trying to post art, he's posting weapons. Weapons designed to kill people from sheer awfulness. Be warned when seeing his posts, seeing them could kill you.
If it makes you feel any better, here's her code:
I highly suspect that none of this even would be possible prior to the face-marking update. Then again that was like 6 months ago so I got no idea how long ago you attempted to create her.
ok how about some odd challenge?:
>The queen summoned me to her castle. She informed me that her dear king and prince had been captured by some manner of necromancer, and that she needed me, Lady Erbeth, to retrieve them - before they face some manner of unspeakable fate.
>However I'm loathe to admit that I likely will not survive the trip alone, considering the last known signs of any necromancer were towards the Rumbling Ridge - and a dreadful, hot wave blasts from its heights. Heavens know what manner of fire burns within there.
>Of course, as a knight, it's not within my frank capacity to back down from such a task, so I do implore any other brave warriors to take up arms with me.
So post pictures and codes of a character with a CLASS you'd like to join this knight. Due to character limitations her party will probably only consist of three or four other people, but other characters might sneak in as NPCs or Bandits or whatever.
I tried doing that nose thing that mouse does, not sure if I got it right.
The side curve could maybe be darker. mouse might also be overlapping the curve with a skin-colored circle which makes it look less vertically symmetrical - make the nose look more angled down rather than sideways.
Layering and softness is also important (like making sure the nose curve is above the blush gradient). mouse uses a ton of really subtle gradients and small detail lines on the mouth and eyebrows to make the face look less flat overall, which is a consideration when putting that much "3Dish" detail into just the nose.
Your girl there needs a professional Duelist, methinks, or at least a professional snarker. Luckly for her, she can have both.
Boy these new belts sure are nifty.
But anywho, after replaying skyrim a bit for the first time in forever and fighting a dragon priest I thought to myself "I bet this could make a cool character idea for kisekae"
So basically here's a Dragon Priestess (and her 2 assistants). She's the leader of a tribal cult that worships dragons, and that's all the chuuni story I have for now.
Note: She takes up 3 character slots, so to make sure she looks right you need to have them in the right order (thought I think it should import the right order automatically), and to make the staff head the right size you need to reduce it's size with shift+7 and shift+8 about 30 times.
This may be a stupid question, but I can't figure out how to add in the mods. Can I load them into Kisekae itself or do I have to manually edit the images with photoshop or something else like that?
Sorry for disturbing the thread.
On the 2nd page of the options, you'll want to find the tab with the white page with an arrow (seen in the image).
You can use a URL and get an image from off the web, or use Local to fetch an image off your computer.
Then you can change the size, layer, rotation, and position of the image. For example, the lifted skirt here is two separate images on two different layers, while the background is another image on the lowest layer.
Also damn that's actually really good. I can spot two characters at least in there, with the staff top being a separate one as just a floating head. and in the process of typing that I just realized the final one was the back layer of the robe she's wearing, so very cool overall!
Thanks man, I figured it'd be something relatively simple. I just couldn't find anything about it.
This is surprisingly addicting, I just spent the last 2 hours building characters. I am quite pleased with what I've got so far.
Addition of "story mode" today. More save slots = excellent. All the load and save functions bugged to hell currently = arrgh.
That much highlight didn't look right with the dark black.
Looks good to me. as >>1860732 said, try two #1 circles on top of each other, black behind, skin tone in front. I find layered triangles also work, as does the #15 trapezoid thing.
That's a good likeness!
.. and this is just awesome.
Why would you even use the in-game save slots when text-based saves have been available for a while? The updates are notorious for blanking saves, why risk it? Not to mention you can't clear your cookies ever.
It's literally been years since I've last posted in one of these threads. Remade some of my characters since my saves are long gone.
Ooh, looks like it'd be useful for gif making maybe.
It's inside this mod thread:
get it quick because this BBS decides to delete images after a certain number of days. Which gets annoying for when you see newer images with older mods you can't get anymore.
Making animal related girls is my favorite thing right now
Hey, is anyone else having trouble with the image importing feature? I found some background on deviantart I wanted to use, but I can't seem to get it or any picture at all to import into the flash. Is the URL jpg importing borked right now? It has worked fine for me in the past.
I have a quick set I made incoming. Hope nobody minds if I clog the thread a bit.
That's it. I thought I'd end it here before it went on too long. I may pick it back up from here if people would like that.
I'm still not very good at all these new fangled hair options. I think its pretty hard to come up with something new and good looking. People like Mouse and others make it look easy.
Glad you guys liked it. Maybe I'll get around to making some more. No promises.
Cute! I really like her!
Ain't saying it'll ever happen, But I'll be damned if i'm giving up after waiting 3 years! Always liked your stuff man, glad to see you're back.
When our cat was pregnant, she disappeared for a day and we were all worried that something might have happened to her, but then she came back with a rabbit that was almost as big as her and ate it whole in the sight of everybody, bones included.
I think your characters are cute, btw.
I made a character today. Idk why but I got to thinking, "what would I like to look like as a pokemon trainer", so... sure enough.
I did rely on some photoshop for it, as I am not entirely sure how to add custom clothing to kisekae yet (if you even can), so I didn't know how to add the pokeballs and stuff to her belt. I managed though, even threw in my starter of choice... Aron =3
I also decided she'd do most of her training on Iron Island in Sinnoh (I love steel type most).
It was fun making their shadows in photoshop, you might be able to do similar in the kisekae program... but again, i'm a newbie X3
What usually happens on weekends for these girls?
I've been trying to get that couch to import for me for a few days now, but it won't work (I"m using the URL image import). Is there some secret to getting it to work? Or something that will make it not work since the "story mode" update?
I'd just download the sofa and use local. I'm not sure modern security measures, both for browsers and for sites, would really allow Flash to just rip images from other URLs. But I've used nothing but local imports and never had an issue.
also apparently the export codes have been upgraded to version 29 now. What new options am I missing? Or is it just for supporting 'story mode' exports?
I take it no one else has noticed yet that there's a new option for hair ribbons to adjust outline color and thickness. Should make for a good way to impose patterns and designs onto clothing. Also a new star thing with gradient coloring.
Least I think it's new.
Yeah, I had an old import code that used the URL sofa picture, and I can still use that and the couch appears; but whenever I use local import, the pictures disappear if I use the slide feature and I have to re-import them (the URL couch from the old import code always sticks around, though).
I like the star with no internal structure. Good change
I saw these threads for a while, but only started actually messing around in it yesterday and wow it's pretty fun. Is there a compilation of stories/comics? Or models? What are good places to look for comics?
Unfortunately no content but I'll definitely be making some
Sweeet. Noticed one day that the feature also got added to hairclips as well as bow things. Once we get the outline feature for belts it'll be super.
I've usually never liked using solid black to hide the lines between objects, but this outfit just looked too much of a pain to do it any other way.
Forgive my laziness /e/
I tried to do a realism-thing with the face, but in the end I just kept the shadows. No idea if it works, you're the worst judge of your own work, except for your mom, after all.
That jacket is super-nice. Totally agree on the ribbon-squishing (>>1864124 and the belt-outlining, the internal structure of the rope-belt ruins so many things)
Never been a big fan of zombies, but I think that staff-axe-horn-hammer-eyeball thing is pretty cool.
Making sexy beach outfits is challenging.
For some reason I really want to see #1 #4 and #5. I get the feeling I've seen them before and liked them.
I'm also compelled to see #1s crotch, as her skirt is obviously far too short.
I don't know, as I am not the artist, but on first glance that doesn't look like a skirt, it looks like it's part of her shirt, and that she's probably wearing tight pants... can't say for sure though
Yeah, me not knowing what should go on one doesn't help.
If you've spent more than five minutes messing around in the game, it should be obvious that it's a skirt.
Besides, they're all wearing school uniforms, so why would she be wearing pants?
Code for Scarlet:
I professed that I am new to the program, yes.
and I also stated that I am not the original artist.
But I was commenting on what I thought a silhouette, which by definition is ambiguous often as an artistic point, looked like.
How dare you go around telling me how little I know about something which I flat out stated I was not completely invested in yet.
With that said, I take offense. I spend HOURS contemplating every detail of each character I have made, many of whom I haven't shared yet anyway. I know I am not proficient with the more advanced stuff, but how DARE you tell me how much time I devote to something as important as creating a character you feel happy about and comfortable with.
Her hair was… difficult.
I didn't expect anybody to get too hung up on the silhouetted girls. I mostly used them since they were in the same save file and I wanted to populate the image. And yes, the girl on the left is wearing a really short skirt. I would post those girls for you all to see but I'm out of town for the week for the holiday and don't have my computer.
Today belts have been added to the list of things whose outlines you can re-color.
Also, borderless ribbons improve expressions
This is fantastic!
Happy Thanksgiving! Sadly, there are no turkey pokemon yet... so my character (whom I still have not named...) has to go Unfezant hunting instead!
I wonder how this battle will turn out...
I just tend to spend more time on getting the arms into place really... I keep forgetting all about her neck being at a slight tilt XD
as for her legs, I just like the default position for the images i've happened to upload so far. Idk, the next one in the Unfezant hunt has a different leg pose...
You should try a few things more often. Adding weight to posing can really go the long distance, and it's a good reason why mouse is so darn good. Something more dynamic and caught in the action is a lot more convincing.
Unfezant hunt part 2.
Yes I know that Unfezant's wing is inside out. I tried fixing this a number of ways, in the end I spent 2 hours on that alone and didn't reach a version I was satisfied with... actual Photoshop would make it easier instead of cheapy Paint.net... but... whatever... we are here for the Kisekae anyway =3
I did use a Kisekae hair part for the wing 'swish', though I decided that making an entire tornado out of them would be too fiddly with way too many parts... sorry if you guys aren't liking the post-Kisekae edits I keep doing =3
Side note, is there a way to, in the program, set the background transparent? I keep having to set it to a white or colored background, and then cropping that out in Paint.net, sadly it leaves behind trace pixels on her outline (the white dot syndrome).
Pic related is my second attempt using Kisekae.
I think it went well for my second attempt at this, although I have quite a few issues with my designs and I couldn't get the menus to go away so I could take a screenshot.
I like knife-girl and long-haired loli best. Grey-haired girl is also cute, but the red gradient in her hair doesn't look all that good in my opinion.
You can take screenshots via the grey wrench-tab. You can draw a frame with the frame-button around the part of the image you want and the png or jpg button takes a picture. The camera with the plus-sign lets you change the resolution.
Sweet thanks for the info. Quick question aswell, Do you guys use the ingame functions to take screenshots or do you just use printscreen?
I kind of gave up on fixing things, hence why I said I have a few issues with it. There is things like the entire character with the bat, pink haired girl's hair, the layering on the long haired one and the red hair bit you mentioned that I don't like. Also finding a pose that doesn't annoy me is very hard.
Knife-girl, Teacher (orange hair on the far left and the pink vested one are the only ones I'm really happy with.
Also pic related is my first try. No I do not know what it is supposed to be.
I use the in-game functions. Usually I use the .PNG button in the gray wrench.
Unfezant hunt part 3, and my first in-program use of hair as a special effect... in this case... the tatters left of her clothing... oh dear... at least she saved the hat.
Alright, I'm finally ready to post my first attempt at this stuff.
Hi. I'm new to these threads. Making younger versions of a character really isn't easy.
The smallest one looks a bit like an alien I guess, but how did I do otherwise?
I wish there were more clothes patterns, esp. for tops. Or, better yet, an option to pattern-ize anything you want.
At least somewhat passable stripes are possible now with the new belts...
>we're all here for the same thing.
I like to imagine theres at least some tiny number of people who like making and seeing cool impressive stuff and not just fapping over and over to characters that if the heads were covered would almost all be indistinguishable from eachother.
But if you're not one of those (which really there aren't many of) just say it and don't pretend to care about "understanding the making"
What, can you not get hard if you think people know what you fap to? Did you think it was a secret up until now? Was your fantasy that you were some sneaky thief kidnapping girls from the thread and doing lewd things to them? If you wanna jack off to someone's character just say it.
Man people are just so goddamn new here.
hey, you gotta admit that that's what this is for. However once you dig deeper into it, it's not a bad tool for how it's used.
1. Most people aren't artists but most can manage posing preset figures.
2. vector based graphics meaning you don't have a problem resolution and scaling (not really relevant to the point, just an observation)
3. lower barrier of entry meaning more people will use it and some will tell their stories that other wouldn't have
So by your own point, doesn't that fall on the side of encouraging the sharing of resources as well? I was just stating how easy it would be retaliative to other types projects.
Fantastic use of hair bits here. FYI, if you export as PNG and choose the checkered button that removes the background, you can avoid those white pixels on the edges.
I like their poses, looks natural
Stripes! Good! I feel there's lots of untapped potential with the new borderless bits.
You always manage to make your girls look good enough to eat. Like literally every time I see one with their puffy camel toe I just want to eat it.
and you. you have succeeded in making girls with legs I want to wrap around my neck.
I love these threads just because I sometimes get to see creations such as these that are just so impressive from a design point of view that I just hope to see more of them, someday.
But, you can't even adjust anything in the "camel toe" region. It's the same way every crotch with panties looks in this program. And the legs are literally just a few clicks longer than the default one. And while I can get calling mouse's stuff impressive the other guys stuff doesn't have a single thing in it that looks like it took more than 10 seconds of just clicking through all the most basic simple preset things.
The namefag worshipping that goes on here so often is just, bizarre and completely and utterly baffling. Have half the people here ever even tried using the program before? I just cannot understand why they're always so amazed by the simplest things.
Generally, people here aren't so much interested in the designs of different girls (and if they are, it's because of a few specific makers who are known for their designs like mouse). People here tend more towards people's creations for the worlds they sorta make for their girls, wanting to see how, say, L_F or RCA's girls/guys interact with one another, the different scenarios that come between those characters, that sorta thing.
Well that certainly doesn't coincide with what the guy I responded to was thinking. From what I've seen of this LF his stuff doesn't seem to have much story either. My best guess is there are 3 big factors.
Laziness and incompetence. Most people here aren't very good with the program and don't bother trying to learn any more either. Thus even simple things look amazing to them.
Familiarity. Much like what big corporations know, if you just expose someone to something for long enough it becomes familiar and they automatically latch onto it.
Horniness. I know it's a porn board so I can't complain too much, but many people here think exclusively with their dicks and thus get amazed by any image of a girl naked or in her underwear even if almost anyone could recreate that image in about two minutes (which sort of ties in with the earlier point of people not being very good with the program)
When these threads were a lot more active I would check for stories and comics other people made here. Since people don't tend to do much of that anymore I just like to see the girls people make and what wizardry people manage in using the program in unexpected ways.
I've been hanging around these threads for a really long time but I haven't post a ton of crap in a while. I used to do a lot of storied sets a while ago but nothing really for a while. As for your comment about people not being very good I think that's largely an issue of effort and time investment. I've spent may more time with program than I should so it's not super difficult for me to quickly click together another cute girl. It takes maybe a couple minutes at this point. Then there's other guys like Mouse here that put a shit ton of time and effort to edit the code to make really intricate. It takes time, time that most people won't invest because they probably have other things they would rather do. I fall into that category for the most part these days. It's fun to keep track of others creations even if I know I could make something to my liking myself. Hopefully that gives you a different perspective and wasn't just a wall of gibberish.
And that's it for now. The idea to continue is a mansion with lewd maids or something like that. Let me know if I should continue or try something else. Also, here's a download link.
Not used to writing out tutorials, so sorry if it's confusing. I'll try to answer any questions and help out if anyone needs it.
The latest version uses Flash stuff to make loading fail if it's run locally. I dunno if it's intentional or not since I just started using Flash yesterday.
Oh hell yes, that outline option for belts has tons of potential. Just a small shame that:
A. All the older import codes are now importing belts without outlines
B. Having an outlineless belt that goes over the edges of the body will make the outlines on the body edge also nonpresent.
Leaps in bounds in hiding body details easily though, very neat.
I just noticed a mistake/typo in the pastebin instructions.
>Scroll down to function initialize()
>Find the line that contains "pochi.eek.jp", and click on it, click Edit, change it to 'localhost', and Save. It should look like image 3.
You're not supposed to change "pochi.eek.jp" to "localhost". Instead, you should change the first string in that line: "pochi.x.fc2.com" to "localhost"
So, the final line should look line this:
>if(lc.domain == "localhost" || lc.domain == "pochi.lix.jp" || lc.domain == "pochi.eek.jp" || testMode == true)
Oh, and just to be sure, in the "Main" function, the third item is supposed to be changed to "localhost", like so:
I hope that made any kind of sense.
I'm really glad it's working for you.
Are you sure you downloaded all the required files? I could upload a known working copy of k_kisekae2.swf if it would help.
Sidenote, it's possible to run the swf through flashplayer, but the swf needs certain parameters passed to it (ac_runactivecontent.js does this when run through a browser), otherwise it will never load. It's possible to get around it, but pretty flakey to attempt with JPEXS.
Thanks for the correction, I'll edit if I can. It doesn't matter too much which string is changed, as long as the if block contains localhost and localhost is allowed as a domain.
>It doesn't matter too much which string is changed, as long as the if block contains localhost and localhost is allowed as a domain.
Of course, I'm an idiot. I don't know why I thought it was necessary to change those specific lines. Naturally, it isn't
I also fidgeted around a bit in the .swf on my own, deleting everything that I thought could be stopping it from working standalone. Finally, I managed to get it to run without having to use the .html file. If anyone's interested, I could upload it somewhere.
Shit, I forgot to mention that. It doesn't run because ac_runactivecontent runs the embedded swf and passes it certain parameters and refuses to load otherwise. It depends on r18check and I think maybe testmode. Glad you got it working, I had to export as fla and edit it in flash to avoid just crashing on load. Uploading the file would be pretty cool.
Alright, here's the link. First time I've ever shared anything over mediafire, so shout if anything's wrong.
I included the whole folder, so it's just to extract and run. Or you can grab k_kisekae2.swf directly, since that's the only file that's been tampered with.
I have to admit that I went absolutely fucking berserk on the poor thing, deleting anything that looked suspicious, so I'm not sure if that broke something vital. I've been doing some quick testing, and it seems to work fine, but time might tell otherwise.
Maybe (if it works properly) it could be added to the next OP? The current offline version is massively outdated anyway.
how did you even fucking do this
hi /e/ I'm making a cyoa/primitive dating sim thing in twine using kisekae for images.
is this a good idea?
It's hard to put your hands on a pair of big breasts and not squeeze them a little.
Laying poses are kind of hard. More leg positions please.
Making meaningful tshirt decals are probably going to require more than 10 belts.
Thanks, anon. I don't know what kind of scary magic you used to edit the file without creating instant crashes, but it's nice to be able to run this thing with a little less stress on my CPU.
I tried something, but I'm still unsure about the designs. I feel like there's a special touch missing.
I have this earlier version with some poses, but I wanted to nail down clothes design first.
A simple command to fetch some ice cream goes terribly wrong. Heats not good for a corpses durability you know.
Nobody worry though. In the end she settled for a popsicle and they managed to reattach zombie girls arm. A more or less happy ending.
The first one at least had the basis of one guy repeatedly posting loli stuff, though I have no idea about the other, and really the mods should've just banned him instead of letting him repost the same set of images 3 times and then deciding to nuke the whole thread. Either way whoever's modding sucks.
I just use my browser's zoom-in function whenever I'm on that page. Depends on resolution, but I go to 200% for a decently-sized interface.
Mods in /d/ tend to nuke whole threads if it's something they personally don't like and they have even the flimsiest excuse. They've been determined to shit on the place ever since /aco/ started up.
Sometimes I just get curious as to exactly what weird crap can be made in this.
I've been playing too much Undertale, and this started as a FemSans. That idea didn't last very long
why did the first upload I do cut off the top of the descriptions? I dunno, but in this one you must balance the priorities of hitting it off with one of these people while also not missing lunch.
A blatant ripoff of Sakura Wars, but set in 1930's England. They're a team of witches who help fight evil wizards and witches that try to raise demons or start cults and shit. MC is the first wizard they admit to the team because he's the only wizard to be able to make their steampunk robot suits move (totally not ripping of evangelion with that scene either).
Purple is Merlin's granddaughter and team leader. Red is the team mechanic. Green is the hyperactive American. Blue is from Atlantis and is the "I don;t understand your strange culture and your taboos with nudity please teach me" type. Yellow is Native American and voted most likely to go "Ara Ara.."
I'm actually using kisekae models as stand-ins for the models in an rpg maker game I'm toying around with until I get around to drawing them for real. Most of them are pretty simple though, since I wanted to get through them fast. Basically if they look like they took more than 10 seconds it's because they already existed and I just decided to include them or whatever.
Also the lamia tail was made by someone else like a year ago or something.
