Pretty neat.
Yesterday, I made a narrow trenching tool (no pic). I can dig a 2 inch wide trench that can be as much as 4 feet deep. It is just a metal pipe that I squashed a tiny bit on one end then used a angle grinder to slice off about half of its width off up about 12 inches then sharpened. That end is the "shovel" head. Everything here is clay so it is fairly easy to use.
Out of all the "fantasy" knives this is probably the first one I've seen that actually looks like one. Now DIY a goblin to go with it.

>aw shit didn't see that thread
That's because the newfag didn't know what to call the thread "current projects/finished projects" literally no proper term for a quick word search.

I made this Longboard out of poplar. I painted it orange then did a gradient with dark blue spray paint with a clear coat on top. Rides pretty good
I dried some of my cum up and rolled it into a ball, does that count?

Until you got a whole box full get out of here with that weak shit
First prototype of my diy spiritus micro fight.
Ordered webbing/ interfacing/ buckles earlier today.

I'm sorry your dad left you.

I'm not a nigger anon

i did breakfast yesterday, does it count as diy?
next proyect it´s a stone necklage for a gal i´m dating, but i have not the proper tools so it may end up ugly
I had a bunch of mahogany and oak laying around my garage and I'm moving across country in a week.
Was looking at the choice between tossing it all to the curb or taking it with me. Decided to go the middle ground and made a table out of some of it, and toss the rest.
I am by no means a woodworker, so feel free to talk shit. The picture is much more flattering than my skills permit.
Two things I'd have done differently if I had put any planning into the design, is I would have welded the steel bars into a rectangle to wrap entirely around (and still might) and I would have put the top on hinges and made a storage compartment under it.

That's one sad piece of junk if I ever saw one. It looks like a charred rotten stick. Also, karambits are the most useless type of blade you can find, for any situation. Stop trying to be edgy and make something better.

Do you live in Australia?
>>1183296
No, just equally bad at taking pictures as I am with making tables.

Just the white equivalent is all
I finished a pair on tongs I've been working on. They are lumpy and scaley and not at all sexy, but they work and they are mine, so I'm proud of them.

He posted something he made. It appears you didn't. You should celebrate anyone trying to /diy/ and perfect their craft.
>>make something better
if you have something to offer as a craftsman this is your time. Be a mentor not a negative asshole

>>1181737
What kinds steel do you use?
>>1183295
>karambit
>>1183919
I have no idea desu, found some scrap metal in the attic (6mm thickness).
It's more of a decorative knife.
First time ever making one
>>1183909
Well...Ya, but I'm just saying this is your opportunity to be a mentor as a craftsman instead of a negative pit. Constructive criticism.
Armyfag here
I don't have any proper tools in the barracks. My now replaced toothbrush fell in the sink and down the pipe (blame the barracks workers). I used a kitchen knife, a band-aid, and a headlamp to fish out the toothbrush.

That anvil looks sick

What is that, just some sort of holster for AR-15 mags, for use at the range?
>>1183277
For no woodworking skill, that's a nice table
Personally, I'm in the middle of making some wooden spatulas. No pics yet, but I've already broke a blade on my scroll saw being a bit too ambitious. Oh well, I got it for super-cheap and have been waiting to find a use for it.
>>1183390
Nice, reminds me that I still ought to do that. Been lazy though, still using my vice grips.
>>1183973
you are a good parent.
>>1183981
Tablefag here. Thanks, man.
Next project is an attempt at a leather handgun holster. Should be a fairly simple project.
Really should just focus on moving, though. I think I'm intentionally avoiding it because the move is going to be such a pain in the dick.

But....

If it's not heat treated high carbon steel it's a knife shaped object, not a real knife.
