If you want to go beyond doing utterly fucktarded garbage and build a durable dome I suggest studying old military geodesic ground radar domes. While the geodesic dome didn't take off because the design (although visually appealing) sucks in many ways you are incapable of understanding, the formerly useful exception is military radomes. Instead of building shit, you can probably source insulating fiberglass panels etc from someone who has excess left over from a contract. Then all you need do is frame and seal the result.

I'm thinking of designing a concrete dome. Make it in paper mache. Covering it in layers of concrete.

I enjoy spending time designing than manufacturing. If it cost $50 in bricks, can I make it in $5 of concrete with good design is my goal.
