So between a guy picking her up, and then going off to do the deed, the guy would have to somehow incapacitate, embarrass, or otherwise ruin the appeal of the guy, so that she isn't able or doesn't want to have sex with him. Rinse and repeat with different scenarios as the evening progresses and she gets more inebriated.

CCG would be difficult. A general board / card game would be easier, though making it actually be sexy instead of putting a lewd veneer is the trick (changing the properties into sex slaves / whores / brothels in Monopoly doesn't really make the game much sexier, because the gameplay is the same). CCGs generally have very simple objectives (get the other player / hero / general down to zero health, typically), and there's simply nothing erotic about that by itself. You've gotta find a way to make the objective (and the mechanisms to achieve the objective) tell a sexy story.

I imagine one could make a non-collectible card game that's a sort of competitive sex thing, where you're trying to make your partner (opponent) come first, and different cards have different effects on both parties.

Not original ideaguy, but if we take a typical NTR triangle (male A, female B, male C, start point A+B, end point B+C), playing B in the scenario means withstanding corruption/moral degeneration.

You start in a relationship with A. C comes in and tries to force you to leave A for him. You have to resist, but C has compelling arguments (you need cash or to make sure <insert typical blackmail reason here> isn't known).

I can definitely see enough choices to make a game with different routes and endings over the entire spectrum, and plenty of opportunities for lewd content, as much as one could write for it.

Tried this game on steam over the weekend and I thought the concept was pretty neat. You travel across 5 maps and at the end of the 5th map if either of you is still alive you fight to the death. Each map gives you the opportunity to play 4 cards and the interesting thing to me was that you're creating this adventure and the cards you choose to lay down can be just as dangerous to you as they are to the enemy.

Because you don't know what order your opponent is going to play his cards everything you do is sort of risky. Like if you play one of those ultra strong monsters to try and land a killing blow or powerful effect early on, you opponent could break your weapon or play an effect that gives the next monster you fight more health and you'll probably end up dead. Or one of the classes was a thief and his extra gold cards also gave some money to his opponent. If he didn't draw any of his powerful equipment cards, his enemy might be the one with much better gear while they were able to use all their turns to power up their base stats or something.

Maybe something like that could be cool in a battle fuck theme sort of like Night Games or the board game based off of Village of Nightmare 2. If you did like paper doll style characters maybe you could inflict sexy punishments on your enemy like Akuma no Shitsumon.

That would've been my idea if you were doing a single player experience. Lost Kingdoms but you're a succubus that corrupts people and you steal their souls in the form of a fetish/sex card. These can be summons that help you fight directly or provide buffs, traps that are stationary/hidden until you get close enough to activate them, and spells that help you out but don't have any real battlefield presence. Normal rpg progression but you could revisit areas to do side quests and rescue people that you can corrupt back at the main town. Over the course of the game you're able to make people more perverted which upgrades your cards.

Combat does just seem like a cop out for lack of imagination. There are literally thousands of games that are going to do better combat than any porn game that is EVER made. I've yet to see a single one where the combat is engaging.

Pretty much the only engaging gameplay I've seen in a porn game so far is Huniepop because they went and stuck a fairly generic but reasonably strategic bejewelled clone in it, and that's definitely a non-lewd mechanic.

An item is pretty plain right now. I would much rather have the limiting factor be item durability of a reasonable degree. Wearing your finest garb would be fine in a civilized town. But when traversing lands covered in acidic cum, expect such clothes to melt away quickly.

So yeah, characters will have slots to wear items. The biggest source of complexity is the interaction between a character's worn garb (which is pretty much the core of this MUD) and everything else: the world, descriptions of each other, NPC actions/reactions, the custom content for sexual encounters. As you can imagine, there's a bit of a combinatoral explosion that has to be managed, so I'm pretty cautious here.

Sorry I'm not getting more detailed. It's easier for me to talk in the abstract than drown in the sea of possibilities with the other ideas anons. At a high level, I really don't want the focus of the game to be inventory management. There's a whole serious internet spaceship simulator MMO for that.

Much later I will be looking at world building, and I already have a general fantasy canon in mind, but the details are something I would definitely appreciate tapping into the infinite wisdom of /d/.

Games are unique in that, in addition to just having theming, the gameplay actually needs to be appropriate for the theming. Usually. There are three general possibilities.

1. The gameplay is an attempt to directly simulate something

2. The gameplay is an abstraction that still attempts to represent something

3. The gameplay has nothing to do with what's going on

For instance, a wargame. 1 would be Kreigspiel or Wargame: Dragon Rising. 2 would be Age of Empires. 3 would be War the card game For a dating sim, 1 would be an AI that talks to you (the closest to this is Facade and it's entirely dysfunctional), 2 would be dialogue trees and 3 would be playing bejewelled.

Combat in porn games usually falls into 2. The combat mechanics are intended to be an abstraction that still represents combat. This runs into the immediete issue. In a game that's ultimately supposed to be about (and has the main attraction of) sex, why does the main gameplay mechanic have nothing to do about sex. Furthermore, the game developer must contrive a reason why they are fighting. Typically, this means that 1 is attempting to rape the other, where the reward for losing is a scene of your character getting raped but the reward for winning is a scene of the other character getting raped.

This... barely even makes sense in the first place. Two people trying to rape each other? Doesn't that just usually resolve itself to consensual sex if both people are up for that already? Whatever.

Point is unless you are trying to make rapeulator #3950235 you're going to have to be more creative.

Some games disguise a combat system with actions that are supposed to stimulate the opponent. Like Night Games. The insane scenario that Night Games has to construct for this to work is comical, and the sex reads about as erotically as this.

Main challenge is that sex tends to be a cooperative rather than competitive experience. This is navigable when making multiplayer games (see pandemic boardgame) but doesn't work anywhere near as well for single player because you're not working with something intelligent.

If you have a crafting system it might be worthwhile to use an item type + item quality + item material + item decoration (dye or whatever) + enchantment system. This makes it a lot easier for players to make specific items without you having to define 5,000 different variations of striped panties. Since it's a text based game you can go full ham on this.

And I also have ideas for worldbuilding. I like worldbuilding. I imagine it would play like Monster Rancher but with more dating sim elements. Combat would be fine in sex-games if you could make a system interesting and intuitive enough that it doesn't bog down the game. I think Night Games strives to do this, but ultimately fails as the combat becomes very repetitive very fast.

I think it would be safe to say that if a porn game is going to have combat, the combat needs to be both the primary means of delivering the smut (which solves the tertiary nature of most sex-game combat) and well enough designed that it continues to be engaging once the player has a grasp of the mechanics.

Using Night Games as an example again, once you have a good grasp on what works for your character, you pretty much just spam it until you win or lose. At some point, even though the combat is the meat of the game (and it does deliver a good bit of sex) stagnation sets in.

Maybe the real problem is a writer not being able to generate enough unique content, or a designer not being able to design combat AI that behaves and forces the player to mix up their tactics.

I think the farmer encounter at the stocks slightly changes his dialogue as he's finishing out, swapping out 'almost as good as a Treated girl' to something more appropriate. And the milking scene with the girl at the eastern facility might be a slightly different, too? Plus the simulated treated experience is no longer available, since you'll have the real deal.

But yeah, I don't think it really gets brought up. I can't say I've tested it much, being Treated seems like such a strong nerf to the builds I usually run.

More and more todos and want todos keep creeping their ways into the planned update. So far, the player will be able to get two more kinds of party members one being the leyak, (Tentacles) and the drone (jack hammer dildo thing.)

There is handful of new mobs and the next ones planned are pretty tentacle based. So at the moment I already have 4 new "standard" tentacle animations, but the big bastard will have its very own big tentacle animations, and the spider drone will have some tentacle animations.

Going to start working on the boss battle, which will be against a changeling. (Lore wise, they're radioactive shape shifters). It will start off as the big bad, then fall back to it's normal form, which may very well end up as a /d/emona cameo.
Its final phase will be splitting into a couple smaller loli-ish things as it tries to escape.

I'm about to send out this next batch of sprites to be commissioned.

Also, there are 8 new animations stashed so far, With these new mobs I think I'll end up with at least another 8 loops. Which will bring the game to almost 40 animations.

It changes dialogue in some parts, but doesn't seem to do much other than that. For a tease build being a treated girl is actually pretty OP, until you have to fight an enemy that doesn't actually take tease damage, then it fucking sucks.

Plus the ridiculous proportions kind of got old. I don't know why, but I want to play a more vanilla character, but there are so many transformations that you're locked out of if you do that. I might try playing a male that gets transformed into a female and is still referred to as male. That might be fun.
