Why fetish games still try to be legitimate games confuses the hell out of me. Whatever gameplay you come up with is not going to be what people remember your shit for, you might as well (and certainly should) at most have everything being walking around to various areas and triggering scenes with what you do and menu options. Little Snatcher is all right with its gameplay mechanics but I feel like it also winds up hurt by them due to the equip system making an annoyance that really isn't necessary.

Haven't played Size Matters since the public demo but its mechanics were frustrating at that point. I'm playing a fetish game not Metal Gear the RPG. The time limit on the growth also seems like it'd get annoying really fast, but I can't say for sure on that since you didn't use it for much in the demo version.

Little Snatcher also seems to be getting harder with every update, and in all the right ways. The bath area in the update with traps everywhere and poor vision and mobs all over the place, while still not exactly "hard" managed to accomplish a similar result to Shrink High's gameplay-induced challenge with 100% less grinding against lions and 100% more dodging giant naked anime girls on your way to the next map.

Not sure what "Metal Gear the RPG" means but Size Matters is pretty direct about getting to the porn. The time limit on the growth doesn't really get annoying since the time you get is more than enough to get from place to place to the point where 99% of the time you cancel the growth on your own accord.

Then Shrink High is pretty much the same in that regard considering most of the scenes lead to a game over. That's kind of a constant for all size games really.
Still Little Snatcher is pretty smart about this since to some extent it encourages getting crushed, giving you shit when you continue rather than just forcing you to reload a save with nothing to it. Strange that no other games do this considering most of the H scenes in all size games are activated by dying.

There's no benefit besides seeing the outcome of a particular scene not ending in death.

Ideally avoiding any encounters is for the best though, the girls get experience every time they deal damage to you.

It's mostly pretty balanced, though in the current version outfitting yourself with the best gear will make even max level girls relatively non-threatening.

There are quite a few events that are just hard to survive no matter what though due to how the damage is scaled.
