Okay, so here are the terms you will live under as long as there is a chastity thread on /d/:

I don't own those more expensive versions myself, so I was only explaining that the CB-6000 is a "you get what you pay model" and people in these threads have explained it several times. Not the artist but I disagree.
Having to turn them at the same time means that the keyholder could in theory keep them in separate safe places so even if one is found the wearer needs to quickly find the other one before the keyholder notices.

My point is then: what is the locking mechanism and how secure (or not) is it?

I naturally assumed it was the dial because that is the only locking-related element we see in the design.

Not my point though. The design just doesn't look like it is inherently secure enough to force a long-term situation without using contractual shaenanigans.

You can't pick two locks at the same time if they're both sprung loaded such that they revert to the "locked" position if you let go of the key. Like how slam door yale locks work.

Not the anon who requested them so the problem I see with them is that they protude a bit too much. The convenience locking stuff could probably be detachable as it is meant more as "expansions" rather than inherent to the belt's design.

Instead, I'd design the handcuffs/armbinders/etc to be just as high-quality/as secure so that even if it can be disconnected from the belt it's not going to be of much help.

Speaking of which, copypasta I saved from a Japanese contributor who originally explained the origin on another board ages ago (the links are probably no longer the same):
(They are) illustrations of an amateur "dojin" novel named "The princess (of the fetish fantasy)" by Sarashina.

The character, her name is Julia, is resigned princess of "Anamune", forced to return by evil persons.
She is pierce and locked up in golden CB that is the national treasure of Anamune.
She has some ESP power, but it is sealed off by the CB.
Finally, she is jailed in the minimum size cage and put it on the Throne.

The novel can read www.aitu.gasuki.com/ayashiishoko/h/index_hime.html, but there is no illustration.
These illustrations are published in only real dojin paperback that distributed in the Comicmarket73.

Another author is Mr.Shirou.
