Actually it's a pretty hot toy what with it being a live steam engine and all.
Any Transformers deluxe toy. More specifically, Beast Wars deluxe toys. Gorilla Optimus and T Rex Megatron were cool as fuck.

Oh my God, I don't get the nostalgia feels often but this really gets to me. This toy rocked.

regardless I'll always have a soft spot for toys that involve actual engineering.

What a cucki still have that same penguin figure only its the rereleased one from toybiz in 1989. Its coattails broke off and one of the pegs got lodged inside of him so mow he has this cool rattle when you shake him
>>94878021
Never watched it, but I did get to play with my dads Star Wars toys as a kid, the old classic Tie fighter and x wing, Plus the Hoth set.
I was at a friends May the Fourth party and he had fucking all of them. Spend the entire time playing with them like an autist. There were girls at this party, girls with boobs
>>94877870
i fucking had that as a kid
>>94878005
I thought that one had skis, I don't see them???good taste though, best bionicle
>>94878089
That's his super form, Kopaka Nuva. The gimmick to the Nuva line was that they all had weapons that doubled as transportation, such as Kopaka gaining a double-bladed sword that turned into skis. Except Lewa. He just got some shitty katanas that didn't even look like wings or anything, a harsh downgrade from the badass G1.1 axe.
>>94878077
You are like a baby, watch this
>TFW i have no job and at the moment havent yet been accepted into college, so i soend my time either shitposting on /co/, watching cartoons or anime, or making elaborate stories with my MOTU figures and castle greyskull, most of them involveme projecting my crippiling depression with an ongoing story about how skeletor is depressed since hes killed he man and got the castle but all his friends died in the final battle or left him

The only Micro Machines I've seen in recent years were the minis from Star Wars, though they were painted like crap and there aren't any troop-packs like the old Action Fleet had. You can probably still find 'em shelfwarming on clearance now.
>>94878754
even worse than dino riders?
>>94878615
You talking about this one?
It does have a nicer more iconic silhouette and proportions but those feet absolutely ruin it.
Also, that Hasbro Vehicle mode absolutely kills it.
That is one mean fucking Optimus. That's no Death-cheating Zombie Optimus. Oh no. That is an Optimus that has made a deal with Death to put send as many Decepticons as fucking possible to hell in his place.
The only way it could be possibly improved is if the whole thing was die cast metal.
Coolest toy ever.
>>94877827

I'm not saying this was the coolest /co/ toy ever, but it had everything I wanted from a toy as a kid. Spring loaded claw, multi-ammo'd missile launcher, towers over most of your shit, and talks/makes sound effects with a flashing laser gun.
As time when on I lost the missiles, the claw and later leg broke, and eventually every part was lost... EXCEPT the laser/sound part which I still have and got mileage out of from building big ass lego robots around it.

>>94877680

>>94878572
So, that's what it's supposed to look like.
My cousin gave us a huge box full of old Transformers and G.I Joes.
It's a box full of mix matched parts, pieces missing, etc.
this toy was in there, but arm pieces for trailer were missing as were the leg extensions.
There was also this Space Rocket transformer and this other one that was red and grey that had this gun piece that had two opening sides on it (kind of looks like a beak). Never did finish putting them all together.

Both thundarr and he man were post apocalyptic. But where as thundarr was based on earth he man was on eternia where before the great war they had high sci fi technology and knew many secrets of the universe. Thats why skeletor wanted castle grayskull in the first place. Fun fact, mego was going to make thundarr action figures in the late 70s, but opted to make love boat toys instead
>>94879036

Also an armada optimus prime with mini-com
>>94885880

I have that but the black version. Still looks good but the articulation points seemed to have softened so he won't stand on his own power anymore.

>>94886625
I could buy this and be alright, but I'd never forgive myself for chucking 60 dollars at this.
Why are they all this costly?
>>94886680
Tbh a couple of factors. One is that skeletor was one of the first figures to come out all the way back in 2009, and everytime theyd rerelase him he would be bought up quickly. They did make a new one recently, but its 80$ at its cheapest and not what you want. Its not a basic skeletor, but could you settle for intergalactic skeletor? Hes really cheap, and hes got a cool removable helmet and cybernetic detailing. I own him and hes fucking awesome. http://m.ebay.com/itm/Masters-of-the-Universe-Intergalactic-Skeletor-Figure-MOTU-/162292286087?epid=1530253104&hash=item25c95fc287%3Ag%3ACGcAAOSw4CFYrp3l&_trkparms=pageci%253Ab2be3172-894f-11e7-b225-74dbd18098ed%257Cparentrq%253A17b227d315e0ab66ef36e374ffffb43b%257Ciid%253A1

Jim Shooter wanted toy manufacturers to compete with this and they refused unless he could guarantee kids would buy all of them. When he asked how to do this, they told him to make a series that tied all the characters together.

i wish large shit was not so overpriced.
Was it like that in the old days?
>>94889765
sheeeit
>>94878223
/toy/ is not a containment board.
>>94889884
How well did the volcano work?
Looks like it would be hard to line up perfectly.
>>94878572
Even the in between picture looks cool
>>94889884
Get on my level
>>94879500
Fuck that's cool
>>94889916
Well since a gi joe vehicle like the hovercraft was 28.99 back in 1985, where as now it would be 60$ atleast, it implies that things 30 years ago where atleast half the price. But compare that to the uss flag, which was 129.99 when it came out in 1985, and by todays money previous logic would dictate it would be 300$. Now compare something the size of a grown man for 300 and my castle grayskull ive shown throughout the thread which is only 2 feet without the attachment of point dread which it itself cost an extra 150, things where alot cheaper incomparrison to nowadays and you got more for your moneys worth back then. I fucking hate how companies use inflation as an excuse to sneakily lower quality and at the same time raise prices.
>>94889947
look...
>>94889974
>Living room not included
>>94889974
It's has less to do with inflation and more to do with the fact that petrol prices are up, which is generally what plastic is made from.
>>94889765
>Secret Wars and every event series afterward was because of the Super Powers toy line from Kenner.
and thus began the Age of Ike...
>>94889974
>I fucking hate how companies use inflation as an excuse to sneakily lower quality and at the same time raise prices.
http://bionic.wikia.com/wiki/Steve_Austin_(Doll)
six dollars and ninety-nine cents in 1975
>>94890039
I didnt take that into account, fuck...
>>94890074
But this was made at the height of the oil crises when gas was even more expensive in comprrison then it is now. Shouldnt they not have an excuse then?
>>94890101
No idea. All I know is the figure price remained the same. Still hunting down who did the sculpt because it's a tight likeness for an action figure.
>>94890028
Shit nigga that's awesome
>>94878056
it's not a toy, it's an action figure
>>94882882
That's what makes it amazing. It's actually fucking huge unlike
'sup guys?
>>94877870
I wanted this so bad. Was it ever in the show?
>>94877720
lol this sucks
>>94891541
Purrrrrrr...
>>94889816
Why?
>>94891612
space cats needs love too!
>>94877651
You are like little children, all of you.
>>94889829
YES
YES
I had these, but as another anon said, it was Gold vs Black.
There were 2 other parts of it I got, one was another castle, but it had a drawbridge that would automatically lower when you put one character on a certain spot, and the front had a lion on it that would roar when you pressed it's face.
We also had a minipack of blue knights that came with a blue dragon.
Fuck, this takes me back
>>94882763
I feel ya, man. Damn.
>>94884821
Damn yes!
>>94887425
shit i had all of these lego sets when i was a kid. also had the aquanauts.
>He-Man had Castle Greyskull
>Skeletor had Snake Mountain
>Hordak had a wooden cage and the tree from Evil Dead
Why did the Horde get the shaft on having anything cool?
The snake monster is ok, I guess, but Skeletor already had one of those, so it's kinda derivitive
>>94882763
The most fun I had with toys was combining the knights from >>94889829 with these cardboard castle blocks I had gotten for christmas once. The idea of the blocks was you could make a block castle to surround you, but we used it to make these really big castles, and then we created these fantasy stories using the knights.
Shit was great
>>94877651
Yeah, that's a pretty cool toy, but can it multiply?
>>94877827
this man is a national treasure
>>94892347
huh, is that an official toy?
>>94879064
I've been in too many bootleg threads. I was expecting that MLP backpack. You know the one.
>>94892372
Revoltech, the plan is to be ready this winter
>>94887122
Drop a bit of clear nail polish to tighten joints. Or there's this cleaning thing you can use. Something by Pledge, floor wax with Future or something like that.
>>94889728
>She's from an upcoming VN.
Not to nitpick, but the toyline is just toys, with the VN coming out as almost an ad, so I'd hardly say they're 'from' the upcoming VN.
Can't fucking wait for Lucio personally.
>>94892263
this looks a little spooky
>>94890589
Did you say Candlejack while typing that comment? Because everyone
>>94892570
/a/
>>94891541
I never read Bucky O'Hare, but I'm a shameless furfag. How's the figure? Should I get into the comics?
>>94892620
/toy/ actually.
Back on topic, I'm pretty sure I'm going to get this 1/6 3A Dredd when it comes out.
What will Idolmaster do when the gachagame bubble bursts? Will they go back to real idol produce simulation games?
>>94892636
you have the comics and the tv show, the Bucky figures are in preorder and will be ready late fall, series 2 will have stealth Bucky, spectral Jenny and Deatheye Duck.
Boss Fight studio is right now one of the best if not the best 4" toy maker so I'm sure this figures will not dissapoint (remember this ones are a bigger scale than the 4")
they arleady have in the store female gorgons, this year will have also a series 2 fantasy female gargoile and early 2019 we will have series 3 space with a sexy space cat and reptile
>>94892749
>>94892636
the same store you can preorder Jenny you also have the black/white little comic compilation for less than 10$ I think...
>>94892749
>>94892807
Sure, only 30 bucks. She might make a good playmate for Judy. And I keep forgetting to pick up those Realm of the Claw figures.
>>94892845
I arelady have mine, sadly their articulation is poor they are more like statues for my taste, Jenny cost 45$ if I'm correct, it cames with accesories and faceplates, so her price and all the Bucky stuff is more expensive than the regular BFS figures
GOAT coming through
>>94885689
I still have a couple, they were badass.
>>94892899
I'm fine with statues. I still have this bitch waiting to get painted.
I had a normal size one as a kid. But saw the big one in a toy store, it was fucking huge.
>>94877739
>>94877902
Close enough
Remember when Burger King had Z-bots and they were practically the same quality as the retail ones so you could add to your existing collection with each kid's meal?
>>94892956
yeah, I still need to paint the Mamba and the Furry Valkire... I cant post pics of them in this board...
where you buyed our figure? e2046? is the only GK store with kemono stuff I know... hope we will have Katoreya soon
>>94882882
I saw one still in box at BotCon last year holy shit man.
>>94893031
Unfortunately from them, yeah. The circle sold out a while back and hasn't bothered restocking. I can't bring myself to buy the next girls until I paint that one. Maybe I'll finally get around to it this weekend, but I've been working on too much custom stuff of my own. Spoilered so we don't go TOO off topic here. I'm trying to make a scale of the centipede girl on the cover of Horihone Saizou's hot house doujin too.
I was going to get a Priscilla from Dearmine, but their summer event was lackluster so I'm holding off until Halloween to see if they or Pipos get anything good.
>>94892990
Speaking of.
>>94892972
Zilla is such a neat monster design. It's just a really shitty Godzilla design.
>>94877651
only real 1's had thiswhy did all the 90's star wars toys give the men bodybuilder physiques?
>>94893255
This one is from american movie
>>94892972
ayy i had the big one as a kid it was way oversized
you could press the spikes on his back to make him roar if I remember correctly
>>94893362
I know.
>>94893369
Really? The small one also did something but i cant remember. May be it moved his jaws or something. Also there was a rocket in a set
I remember once from a long ass time ago that there where these modifiable monster cars made by i think hot wheels or something but i can't for the life of me remember what they were called
>>94893561
They came with little metal tools right, like an x-shaped multi-tool? I totally had a little blue porsche that you could customize into a monster truck with all kinds of extra parts like spoilers and giant wheels.
If I remember right, it was the same hex-nut system as the reboot of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots in the early 2000s
>>94893149
I will be glad to see your future custom works
>>94893606
YES YES!!! I KNEW I DIDN'T MAKE IT, but i haven't found any trace of the toy since those years i first saw it.
>>94893656
*forgot to add up
Micro Machines and Mighty Max.
Forgot pic.
>>94887392
>Man torn in half with leaking entrails in the red plastic jaws
Shit was intense.
>>94889829
This was great.
>>94893656
>>94893671
Found it, Hot Wheels Mechanix. Took me a minute but I knew these existed.
>>94892929
I love how this was an entirely manufactured thing that kids collected and had nothing to use them for.
>>94893261
I still have this.
I think Kenner was banking on musclemen being the new style for the 90's.
Blow up aliens, hammers, and so on.
>>94893864
Yep this was it, it was the MechaniX brand and they had a subgroup known as the Monster MechaniXs which you could turn into monsters thanks guys for helping out a fellow anon!
>>94877710
JUSTICE GUN MORPHING!
>>94893935
Always happy to help someone find a cherished childhood /toy/. Did an extra minute's digging and found the one I had as a kid too, pic related. A cousin and I staying at my grandparents' one summer got a pair of these one day and spent the next few days part-swapping to make new car combinations.
>tfw growing up poor raised by single mom, couldn't afford this kind of toys
>one time mom actually got me a pack of pokemon cards
>excited af
>it was pic related
>>94894161
Lol, I had an uncle get me a pack of those for my Birthday once, they didn't know back then.
>>94894161
At least they have the same importance now.
Really not the best but I bought this recently and I'm pretty satisfied.

>>94877680
this
>>94893261
I had this
We lost the roof of it at some point.
We also had the xwing and tie fighter toys. Those were great.
>>94894258
>And if I press the head, I can make her disappointed in me!
M-MAGIC
>>94893606
YES
Holy crap, I haven't seen these in ages.
I had this red one with a fist that popped out and the other fist had a projectile.
I see people talking about bionicle in here.
But lets talk about the OG technic toy.
The disk thrower line
>>94894363
And then there was THIS motherfucker right here.
This guy was the best
This one.
The motherfucking SLIME PIT.
>>94894363
Fuck yeah Throwbots!
>>94894338
I have a box with eight or nine of those fuckers, I collected them briefly one summer and wound up with most of the line I think, barring repaints.
Red guy, bulldozer guy, blue cop guy, white astronaut guy, snake-head guy, purple samurai guy, etc.
>>94894302
>/co/ toys.
me too. shame there aren't that much except for superheroes.
May i suggest to get some merch from the recentPPG reboot? teh series is shit but I'm delighted to finally have a toy of the mayor.
anyway yes, there's a Yumi too and even a bunch of plastic clothes so they can always change fashion (mine's undressed, i don't own any clothes)
pic not mine
>>94894435
i seem to remember samurai guy was the one I wanted most but never got.
>>94894439
>mine's undressed
LEWD
>>94894465
>Slamurai
I might have to go dig that old box of robot parts out again, I forgot how great these were.
>>94894439
Neat, thanks. Yeah, I've been meaning to grab the PPG for a while. The one good thing about the reboot is that the toys are on model enough that no one will know.
Right now, all I have for /co/ is a couple of the Mezco hellboy comic figures and the welovefine horse toys.
>>94877727
knew a girl who had this.
>>94878005
Bought this with my allowance literally only so I could have the sword.
>>94883033
Still have this in the attic. Have the cannon too.
>>94887517
That was me. Hi Thomas.
>>94878736
I vaguely remember having one of those. still have a few of the tiny cars lying around
>>94878005
Kopaka was easily the best one.
Hell, they were all great except for I guess the rock throwing one. He was kinda lame.
I remember I got the pc bionicle game at some church sale, and it was fun if clunky, but I remember I was so bothered by the fact that the water bionicle's shotels weren't completely solid in the game. They'd bend back and forth for some reason.
>>94887513
They had that robot at the kids center at my local YMCA. I had no idea what is was from.
>>94877651
Those vibrating lightsabers in my mom's drawer.
>>94894579
It was some wierd short lived tvshow about a kid who could transform his body parts into other things from other characters he met along the way.
It was kinda odd
>>94891557
mmm boobplate.
>>94894587
I wonder why so many moms collected those things, the plastic was shit and turned sticky pretty fast.
>>94891541
>>94891557
>we want zootopia audience
>>94891770
I want that car so bad
>>94894512
Cool! Heard great things about those Mezco Hellboys.
Pic related are my /co/ toys minus a Hotweels Homer, 4 ninja turtles from the '80s and some pastel colored horses.
The articulated one made by Hasbro are pretty fun imho.
never felt your cosmo guys?
>>94894648
Im sure thats someone's fetish
>>94879641
Somehow I never had that playset but wound up with the little green Dianoga monster toy.
As a kid I didn't know what it was (since you never see the whole Dianoga in Star Wars) so I thought it was a generic sea monster and used it as a bath toy.
>>94894740
I has been like 15 years and still i want that seiya sagitaruis, but i cant find him and have the money to buy it at the same time.

>>94889639
Good shit! Jack O'Lantern, Red Skull, Shrek, and Hobgoblin!
>>94892972
Man i had the fighter craft from that set.
It was fucking glorious.
>>94892263
And a hand puppet. But I guess Mattel blew their wad on Eternia playset. Whatever the hell the playset that came with three freaking towers and a mobile train on top.
>>94892263
Fuck Hordak, that's why. His voice and snorting were intolerable.
anyone else have the Spawn playset? I feel like no one else had one it was fucking awesome.
also remember when playsets started transitioning to more cardboard parts? THIS WAS ALL HARD PLASTIC BABY
