Also, I neded a breather from the prior Miles' stories so I posted Ultimates Vol. 1 by Ewing (>>94543703) and I highly recommend a look. If anything that thread motivated me to want to do a Ewing thread where I storytime:

Also in the mood to storytime Runaways Vol. 1 -2 (Vaughan). The idea of a TV series really has me excited and I feel it had an interesting premise and some really good dialog (one of the reasons why Runaways has played its role in influencing my writing).

I don't get why they don't have someone break him out? Like some new villain who wants Norman Osborn out as a distraction. At least it would be better then Osborn escaping again. What are we up too? escape number 8 or something? Why not just put a bullet in his brain and dissect him?

This also raises a question, is there an iteration of Spiderman who took the idea of the 'great power, great responsibility' line to an extreme and began killing villains as he has the power to do so and the responsibility to do so? I was thinking back on the Spidermen issues and how it fell flat with how 'exact' Peter was to the dead one and how it would have been more interesting with a more hard line Peter who's world may be better in some aspects (Gwen and her father are both alive, Harry is alive and well because Peter killed Norman at the first chance he got)

Also Osborn is so poorly used. He is a creepy and effective villain both as Norman Osborn and Green Goblin yet his intimidation levels are lowered because of his Saturday morning cartoon repetition of get caught, go to jail, break out, rinse and repeat.

I hate venom blast. It is a damn electric ability, not a venom attack and certainly not a blast. Once again there is an interesting idea here, that Miles has venom he can inject into his foes or it has an effect on contact but no, instead it is some magic 'instant win' button.
