I knew this would happen years ago.
It was clear to me that the only reason the Black Order were created in the comics in the first place was to give Thanos some named minions that could be used in other media. They kept showing up in videogames and cartoons for the past few years, which showed that Marvel really wanted to push them.

Thanos has always used minions/proxies, after all when he enters the fight he tends to overpower most everyone so having underlings to beat on for the heroes before Thanos owns everyone makes sense and yes, why the order was created. Time gem on Strange, so again, another fight.

Power Gem is with the Nova Corps, wouldn't be surprised if they bite it in the opening scene to establish how powerful Thanos is + raise personal stakes for the Guardians.

Space Gem and Reality Gem are both in Asgard, no doubt there'll be shit going down there in the film; most of the Avengers haven't been anyway, so there's opportunity for humour.

Last aspect is the soul gem, which we still haven't seen. It ain't gonna be on Adam Warlock, considering Vision is basically taking that role, so where's it gonna be?
