I think cartoon moms are cute as fuck, but the idea of real-life "hot moms" is gross to me, because I grew up with a single mother that I never viewed in a sexual way.
I have so many cartoons I need to watch, that at this point I have no idea where to start anymore.

I'm too scared to watch cartoons and movies, seriously. That is to say, if I'm at home, watching anything, I'm usually multitasking, like drawing or playing vidya while I watch, because I have trouble giving my attention to one thing at a time. But, if I'm not actually watching something, I feel like I'm missing out, whether it be the artistic depictions on screen or just a plain visual gag, heck even a funny face; and because of that, I tend not to watch stuff I haven't seen too often, so I re-watch the same stuff again and again on a loop in the background.

I have over 10 terabytes of shows and movies on my hard drives that I've never even gazed upon, but downloaded them because I'm scared I'll miss my chance in the future.

Though, this extends much farther than just /co/ related media, but /co/ related media is my favorite, and it's maddening to me but I don't know how to fix it. And it's not just 'new' content, I have an awful long-term memory, so if I haven't seen it within six months and only watched it once or twice, I've forgotten most of it. Unless I sit down and pay 100% attention to it.

I've listened to the Office on a loop for over 2-years now, and I'm so tired of it. I've seen the entire series probably 50 times. I want to watch the Beattlejuice cartoon, I want to re-watch Teen Titans, I want to get to the ending of As told by Ginger, I just want to be able to enjoy cartoons again. I have 3 monitors and it just doesn't work.

When I was a kid, I used to to have to have to touch everything with my right hand an even amount of times, but my brothers made fun of me, so I tried to stop it, and to some extent I did. I still relapse into it, like how I have to swipe my deodorant a certain amount of times in the morning (and If I can't get it right, I'll re-do it.) So, I always assumed I had some form of repressed OCD - But I thought it was just like, a repetition thing, not that someone thought they were doing it the wrong way. If that's the case, I probably have it.

I do need to see a Psych though; my regular Doc refereed me for depression, with the possibility of Bipolar disorder, among other syndromes. I'm just too embarrassed to make the call and start working towards something better.

The reason people do the repetitious, irrational actions(compulsions) is because it will combat anxiety, either from a persistent thought (obsession like I'm not watching tv right) or an irrational sense of being not quite right(I feel weird, maybe if I follow this compulsion to touch things with my right hand I'll feel less weird for a second.) So yeah, the condition involves repetition, but it's way more broad and flexible than that. Some people have a thing called pure O where they don't even do physical compulsions and it's all just confined to their head(obsessive).

Like, I'm not one to tell you to see a psych cause I never went to therapy for this shit, but what I can say is you should read about OCD online. Once you accept that you have it and it's a kind of insanity, it becomes quite a lot easier to not do crazy shit like watching the office 50 times, because you find it easier to accept that you're being batshit and resist the urge to do that. I semi-frequently end up in a state where I can be re-reading the same five pages of a book for over an hour, despite fully understanding everything.

I'm pulling more Marvel than I am DC at the moment.

Modern cartoons look like garbage. I don't think the older hand drawn stuff was god-tier or anything, there were plenty of shitty cartoons Way Back When but then I look at screencaps of Batman TAS or old Looney Toons cartoons and they're such beautiful works of art.

Then I look at this Gravity Falls/RWBY/Rick and Morty/Foster's Home/Bill and Mandy/Regular Show stuff and while those shows definitely have merit to them they aren't lushly beautiful the way cartoons like Batman were.

Inside Out was boring.

Sing was utterly charming.

Despite the flaws, I genuinely enjoy Suicide Squad. Letoker isn't bad - in fact, he and his gang are some of the best parts of the movie, although I agree it would have been better to give him and Harley their own prequel instead.

The Simpsons was never good.

I really enjoyed Venom Spaceknight mainly because I loved the design of the Venom symbiote when he was with Flash, and I liked the arc that Venom and flash was going through, it sucks ass that it got canceled becuase i wanted to see more space adventures with Flash and his crew
