Huh, I kinda like it. Definitely better than the OP redesign. It really shows how personality gets across in character design, all three versions seem like completely different people.

It's not going to appeal to today's child.
It's got to be loud and annoying but also show that girls can do everything a boy can do with girl power and shit, and also be drawn on the budget of a potato.

Original had heart and time put into it. It's soft and the colors are all calming shades. They're going to have little adventures with meanings behind it that can all be solved fairly quick and simple.
I love original so much, but to stay alive it had to change. It's "anniversary collection" of dolls at Target wasn't selling well. I got one on clearance for like $5.

At least the Carebears toys still look like the originals, even if the show sucks compared to Carebears Countdown.

Rainbow Brite was not very good, considering it tried to establish a bunch of MLP style lore and story based shit into tiny 13 minute mini episodes, where MLP would usually do this with two part episodes equaling out to about an hours length
