>>1708426
The show is "Dan Vs."
The man of the left, Dan, is voiced by Curtis Armstrong, who played Booger in Revenge of the Nerds and Snot in American Dad.
>>1708523
>Snot in American Dad.

Anyone have Tom & Jerry settling in for the train to hit them because of women?

>grow up black and in the south
>watched Tom and Jerry all the time as a kid
>never understood that Mammy Two-Shoes was suppose to be a maid until I was an adult
Literally every older black woman I knew growing up talked and dressed like that around the house, so I grew believing that that was her house and Tom was her cat. I was actually kinda sad that they turned her Irish in the newest Tom and Jerry show, because most black kids I knew thought the same thing until we grew up.

Garfield was actually pretty dark in the mid-late 80s for some reason. There's a collection called "The 9 Lives of Garfield" which shows all of the lives that Garfield will have; the one with him being Jon's cat being his 8th. They did an adaptation of it for TV, which shows him and Odie brutally dying in their last life, going to heaven and having God given them another set of lives because not enough of their lives were fair.

Its a shame there's no interest in Felix as an IP anymore, I'd love a movie done in the CG style of that Captain Underpants movie.
>>1723735
Dreamworks owns Felix right now, and reportedly they're interested in doing something with it on Netflix down the line after their first wave of shows are done.
So the rumors go.
>>1723948
They've been saying that for nearly a decade now
>>1707759
>>1723185
that was fucking funny
>>1724043
Yeah, but Netflix has been a pretty good try anything zone for Dreamworks, so it could actually happen there.

>>1721193
This scene only got weirder now that the animators setting it up in his canon that wolf and fox were almost brothers
Also i didnt notice the first time that fox undoes some fastener thing around his tail, neat little detail
>>1727071
I hope he left here there after all that
>>1709576
I just feel like they try too hard sometimes with they heavy emotional stuff. Like the episode where he goes into his mom's room in the temple and gets mad at her for not telling him anything. I don't think there was a single joke in that episode.
>>1721193
Why is wolf acting so gay
And what's up with his voice
>>1727841
it's fan made, the whole thing is actually pretty good.

Ben 10 Omniverse.
>>1711819
It has become apparent to me recently that shows often reuse the same figure frame over and over to save time and money, ty lee here has everything from just below her top as a stationary, static image, but the arms, head, and top are redrawn every frame, yet aside from the shoulder dropping slightly, the chest does not move in this animation. I like to imagine some bored artist out there just really felt the need to draw the same set of tits over twenty frames, since drawing an arm moving is kinda dull.

just because it's a cartoon doesn't mean it has to be goofy or silly for the sake of it being a cartoon. steven universe is just telling a story which can get pretty serious and deep from time to time. they just balance out the silly/funny episodes with serious episodes. like look at the episode where jasper gets corrupted. the very next episode was a silly one with peridot chasing around a corrupted gem loony toons style. sure the characters cry quite a bit from time to time but it just help show different levels of emotional connection. like when
steven turns himself in as rose quarts
pearl immediately tears up. pearl holds a lot of her own emotions for others' well-being. she cares and that's how it is shown. other moments when the characters tear up is just them facing very hard emotional things like the fact that rose basically had to die in order for steven to exist. he has gone his entire life without her. so yeah him talking about it is gonna bring out some form of emotion. sure there is a ton of heavy emotional topics in the show and it may seem like the show's success rides on it giving the feels. it is on some level a bit much but the best way to show character development is through strong emotional encounters. it seems like there is a lot of these encounters but consider that steven is 14. he is just coming around to being able to actually comprehend his mother being gone and figuring out how to deal with that.
>>1729314

Eh, well at least A Fox in Space is pretty good. As long as there's no blatant furfaggoty in that, we're gravy.
>>1741929
>As long as there's no blatant furfaggoty in that
anon I dont know how to tell you this but the whole thing is furfaggotry just look at the animator's focus on canine faces and teeth and you'll realize he's injecting his fetishes into it already
>>1742167
I dunno, man. I'm getting Fritz the Cat Lite vibes off it.

I wonder if Jon's voice actor was chosen because of all the singing he does in the specials? Which is then weird that he was kept on for Garfield and Friends if so.
>>1721647
You know; I never entirely understood what sort of program Tron is suppose to be in the original movie. Was he spyware? With how we picture anthropomorphize programs now, Tron seems more like he's suppose to be anti-virus software (like MegaMan.exe).
>>1742705
Yeah, I'll give you the third one.
>>1724835
I doubt they'd keep it the wild surreal style of the original silent cartoons/comic strip that Twisted Tales got pretty spot on.
>>1725340
Oh yeah... that weird transition point when he wasn't quite Egghead, but still wasn't entirely Elmer Fudd...
>>1726664
All this makes me think of now is that stupid "Cartoon Theory" that tries to play this ending up as the last ever Tom and Jerry short.
>>1728847
Because they literally have government funding dedicated to the betterment of the arts and consider cinema itself art. If you can prove you deserve it, they will give you funding to make something amazing.
>>1724043
