Good Joke Tier wasn't ragging on the characters, they're just in a different class than the non-joke characters. Equius is my favorite troll and has been since Murderstuck.

PM did more than AR and her characterization was stronger to me. I probably should bring him up to God Tier, I was just trying to be selective. I enjoy WQ and WK but you're right that they were pretty much non-characters, I just like them rounding out the group.

Terezi personally ruined the comic by orchestrating the retcon to bring back The Actual Worst Character (how you could hate Calliope more than Vriska escapes me but not in a way I want to learn more about, it's just baffling) and I hated the shit with her and Gamzee. I liked her in act 5 but she's awful in act 6.

Tavros was one of my favorites in Hivebent but the Vriska's personal monkey thing threw such a wrench into his characterization that not even the ghost army thing raised him back up.

Aradia was fun while she lasted, I liked how many iterations she had and what we saw of her character, and while she was a little bland I'm very fond of Kanaya, especially in her interactions with Karkat.

Game devs are notoriously bad at estimation when it comes to time, that's what corporate is for. With that in mind: don't say release dates if you aren't sure you are going to meet them. It's forgivable if outside influences (like voice actors MISSING THEIR DEADLINES AND CUTTING OFF ALL COMMUNICATION) fuck that up, but at this point all I can see with WP is their own incompetence standing in their way. Their animator is probably the only halfway skilled person there it seems.

And these guys were off to a bad start what with that drama that happened and the money and so forth. But I do know they're being bad at this. Making multiple release dates and missing each one, doing very little to communicate with backers off kickstarter, making it really hard and weird to find updates on the status, and being very hidden about what's going on.

I also wonder if it really takes this long to make a game that's 2D, point and click, and seeming to be fairly linear.
