I'm hoping someday Peridot will be strong enough to actually bend the shape of metal instead of just lifting it. Maybe a fusion with Lapis would help, seeing as how immensely powerful she is and how she has a feel for manipulating matter with no defined shape. Adding flow and power to metal bending

Pearl didn't kill Steven because she knew it's what Rose wanted, to have Steven and to give up her everything for him. Pearl killing Steven to get Rose back would be like spitting in her face, like turning her back on Rose, and we know how loyal Pearl is to Rose and the Crystal Gems.
