Tomorrow we get Kingpin's new ongoing series, so I decided to storytime last year's mini by the same writer.
This also conveniently serves as a companion piece to the Civil War II chronological storytime >>89705057 done by some other anon
>>
>>89736706
I posted the variant cover to issue 1 as the OP because the actual cover is very misleading.
>>
>>89736751
This story presumably takes place before Civil War II issue 3.
>>
>>89736779
Wilson Fisk pretending that he and other criminals are poor oppressed victims
>>
>>89736751
I'd say you made the right choice by choosing the cover that actually has the title character on it
>>
>>89736818
>>
>>89736853
>>89736848
Yeah, that was my reasoning. Fisk is on the main cover, but he's more in the background and hard to see at first glance, Hobgoblin of all people is front and center.
None of the characters on this page are on that cover though.
>>
>>89736891
Jigsaw raises a very good point, one that Tony Stark clearly never considered. There is nothing wrong with using Ulysses intel to go after wanted criminals.
>>
>>89736853
>we have wave been
What?
>>
>>89736925
>>
>>89736964
Fisk must have some pretty thich fat (I'm sorry, "muscle") if none of those bullets hit any organs.
>>
>>89737013
>>
>>89736925
To be fair in PM and IF it's brought up that it assumes reformation is impossible for criminals. That said in regards to these criminals using Ulysses is totally fine.
>>
>>89737050
>Monica, Captain Falcon and Night Thrasher
Pretty random characters to show up here I must say. Especially since Sam Wilson was on Tony Stark's side of the conflict.
>>
>>89737087
Monica took the name from a blonde man and then another blonde man took it from her, get your facts straight Fisk.
>>
>>89737116
>>89737073
I meant that you can use Ulysses to pinpoint whre these wanted criminals are going to be and then arrest them for the crimes they've already done. We actually see that later in the issue.
>>
>>89737175
I know that Fisk uses his magical lawyer powers to make himself untouchable, but I'm pretty sure that Lady Bullseye and Ox are wanted criminals, just saying, you should probably arrest them while you're here.
>>
>>89737216
That's not the kind of mask Madame Masque wears, she'd never leave her mouth exposed
>>
>>89737175
>>
>>89737255
Like I mentioned earlier, here we see how Ulysses could be useful, these guys were wanted criminals, and thanks to the visions tthe authorities knew where they would be.
>>
>>89737292
You're gonna be too busy being in jail and then doing a dumb roadtrip across America to keep an eye on anyone Clint
>>
>>89737331
Yeah, the way the heroes treat this murderous mob boss isn't right! The heroes don't care about us! They're too busy doing useless crap like save the Earth from Thanos!
#KingpinLivesMatter
>>
>>89737331
Barton is a bully.
>>
>>89737369
>>
>>89737396
>4 minutes
Man, Turk and Fisk must talk really really slowly
>>
>>89737369

heroes are too big picture.
they don't do shit for the little guy.

but Fisk helps those around him.
>>
>>89737435
>>
>>89737481
>>89737478
Bullshit, there are plenty of street level heroes that do small picture stuff for the "little guy", even big-league heroes do little stuff. Like Hawkeye, this guy should have asked him for help.
>>
>>89737529
I'm pretty sure that Ulysses isn't omniscient, he doesn't see EVERY crime, especially not this early in the game, Carol didn't ramp things up until after Banner's death.
You're jumping to conclusions Fisk.
>>
>>89737216
Did he just threaten arguably the most powerful superhero in marvel earth with a bunch of street level crooks?
>>
>>89737557
>>
>>89737586
I don't get this page, why does he see a Celestial?
>>
>>89737529

that dude literally just watched Hawkeye arrest someone on the street for no reason, come into his store, steal a coffee and verbally abuse someone he considers a friend.
>>
>>89737621
>>89737584
Hey now, don't underestimate Fancy Dan
>>
>>89737658
>>89737641
>arrest someone on the street for no reason,
The Owl and Madame Masque are wanted criminals, fugitives. And how do you know that Clint didn't pay for his coffee?
And "verbally abusing" a murderous gangster is bad?
>>
>>89737703
>>
>>89737703
>And how do you know that Clint didn't pay for his coffee?
He literally told Fisk to pay for his coffee and left.

And why the hell didn't Janus just scream he went under terrigenesis to Medusa there?
>>
>>89737733
>>
>>89737478
Fisk must have stepped on a hell of a lot of little guys during his days as crime boss. Also, there's more than one street level hero in marvel who could help the guy.
>>
>>89737778
Since when is Inferno a mob enforcer?
>>
>>89737837
>>
>>89737875
BRB, have to do something
>>
>>89737906
Am back, sorry I took so long
>>
>>89738403
What are Gladiator and Ghost doing here?
>>
>>89738443
>>
>>89737216
That FUCKING last panel. Someone was paid for that
>>
>>89738484
>SHIELD
You'd think this would be the NYPD, the FBI or the DEA's kind of thing.
>>
>>89738527
So, what's stopping Ryan from putting his family into protective custody the moment Fisk lets them go and then come back with a bunch of agents and arrest him? There's a reason threatening the lives of cop's families isn't a good idea unless you live in Mexico or some third world hellhole.
>>
>>89738568
>>89738508
Yea...I'm glad the ongoing has a different artist.
>>
>>89738603
>>
>>89738639
>Kingpin defeating the Wizard, an FF-level threat, with his bare hands
>Guns being a threat to Hydro-Man
Damnit editors, you should have told the artist to draw someone else for those scenes
>>
>>89738684
>WAH WAH IT'S ALL THE HEROES FAULT
>WHY WON'T THEY LEAVE US CRIMINALS ALONE
>THE CITY IS BETTER THANKS TO US
Keep telling yourself that Fisk, you're the ill intent and you know it
>>
>>89737087

Guess Night Thrasher joined the Black Illuminati from Spencer's Cap.
>>
>>89738718
>>
>>89738443

I think Gladiator became evil again in Soule's Daredevil Annual, or something.
>>
>>89738746
>>
>>89738718

Who are they killing on the boat?

Also, yay, Bushman cameo. He's gonna be in Moon Knight soon.
>>
>>89738771
Who knew that gangsters could be anime fans?
>>
>>89738802
Poor gangster, he was trying to be a bro by refusing to kill and sell out his friends
>>
>>89738848
>It's only Spider-Man and we have a dozen men
You're an idiot Janus
>>
>>89738881
>>89738759
But Gladiator was never a gangster is all I'm saying.
>>
>>89738923
>>
>>89738974
>>
>>89739019
>The winner will always be the one that does not follow the rules
Um, sure, whatever that means.
Also, what did Vulure do to you Fisk?
>>
>>89739054
>>
>>89738923

He used to work for the Maggia and the like, before going all crazy.
>>
>>89739092
>>
>>89739141
All these callbacks
>>
>>89739177

A No-Prize to anyone who can name them all.
>>
>>89739177
How did Turk get that scar?
>>
>>89739213
Not to mention, Turk has somehow become 100 times more competent.
>>
>>89739254
>>
>>89739294
>>
>>89739339
>>
>>89739378
>I was grooming him. I care...cared about him
JUST MAKE OUT ALREADY

Also, get ready for massive amounts of plot armor.
>>
>>89739414
>>89739378
Goddamnit I forgot the image
>>
>>89739454
Why did Fisk even have a guy dressed up as the Scourge of the Underworld on his payroll anyway?
>>
>>89739513
I gotta say, Frank missed several chances to kill Fisk, and the way he started shooting was reckless with no real strategy.
>>
>>89739513

It was me, Fisk.

I was the gun-totting, criminal-hating vigilante all along.
>>
>>89739577
>>
>>89739617
>You think darkness is your ally
>>
>>89739653
>>
>>89739697
A shotgun? Really Frank? You would have won instantly if you had brought a machine gun or something. Are you even trying?
>>
>>89739746
>>
>>89739798
You underestimate Fisk's fat at your own peril there Frank. We already saw it tank 3 bullets.
>>
>>89739848
Frank hasn't had a very good showing. I know Fisk has plot armor, but Frank is usually a much better fighter than this.
>>
>>89739901
>>
>>89739940
>>
>>89739976
Are we sure the Kingpin isn't superhuman? He should be dead after all this.
>>
>>89740011
>>
>>89738639
We gay now.
>>
>>89740051
Final issue, this is taking longer than I expected because of my crappy internet and lack of 4chan pass.
>>
>>89740093
>Hippocratic oath? What's that?

>>89740076
Janus is the new Wesley, or at least he could have been.

Is that Gentleman from the Sinister Six novels?
>>
>>89740225
Poor generic SHIELD agent, he has no idea what he's getting into.
>>
>>89739019
Wasn't AIM in control of Sunspot?
>>
>>89740261
>>
>>89740301
>>89740283
>Wasn't AIM in control of Sunspot?
As Sunspot himself said: there's always someone who didn't get the memo
>>
>>89740225

Presumably, since I'm personally unaware of any other elderly male criminals called the Gentleman.

>>89740283

There were rogue factions.
>>
>>89740331
Poor Vulture. Those damn whippersnappers have no respect for their elders.
>>
>>89740362
>SHIELD keeps all their intel on Fisk in one location
So much incompetence.
And wouldn't the FBI have their own files on him? Why is SHIELD even involved in this in the first place?
>>
>>89740393
Ox and Grotto are their real names? Wouldn't they be on the no-fly list? Since they're wanted criminals and all.
At least they're smart enough to get the hell out of dodge.
>>
>>89740427
Why do they keep putting the Owl in normal prisons? Isn't he superhuman? He could just fly away if they're not careful.
>>
>>89740453
This is the idiot who thought that superheroes don't care about "people like him" (even though he had the chance to ask Hawkeye for help and said nothing) and thinks that Wilson Fisk is a great guy that helps his community that's treated unfairly.
I feel sorry for him, but he brought this on himself.

>>89737478
This is how Wilson Fisk "helps" people
>>
>>89740495
>I trusted you
You are one of the dumbest fictional characters ever
>>
>>89740536
The reason Fisk keeps getting away with everything isn't because he's smart, it's because everyone in government that ever goes after him is an idiot. They had their chance to put Fisk behind bars forever and they blew it.
>>
>>89740572
>>
>>89740601
>>
>>89740637
The plot armor is strong with this one.
>>
>>89740679
>>
>>89740729
>>
>>89740774
And that's that, hope you enjoyed.
Join us tomorrow for issue 1 of Kingpin's new series. Unless of course someone storytimes it before me, could happen.
