Not really. IQ test results are found to correlate well with numerous social factors (such as school and job performance) as well as things like working memory. If you craft results to "fall a certain way" then you'll most likely end up with a test that doesn't maintain all of these correlations. And in practice there are only a few different IQ tests that are seriously used in the modern world; mostly it’s the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, and occasionally one of the Kaufman tests.

Yes, but the tests have gotten much better since then. As long as you the language the tests are administered in is your native language there’s not much of anything culturally-biased to derail you, since they consist mostly of things like imagining abstract shapes rotating in space, recognizing vocabulary in your language, and memorizing strings of numbers.

The main problem with IQ tests is that some people assume they measure "general intelligence" when they usually measure cognitive abilities in spacial recognition, math, and sometimes other specific abilities.

Those abilities are helpful in math and science, but it's not as if people with high IQs are automatically successful in these fields.

It's a lot like measuring a person's success in sports by their muscle mass. It's related, but it doesn't automatically translate into success.
