I didn't hate it, but it took far too long to get where I wanted it to go. Though, that could just be first episode syndrome.

After being grounded by his father Fred, Archie must figure out a way to make it to the Taste of Riverdale event where Josie and the Pussycats will be performing a song he helped write.

We're only in the first episode. I think the Twin Peaks will be happening as the season progresses, with the appearance of Sabrina at the end of the season being the big thing that sets up Season 2 as "Archie's Weird Mysteries: The TV-14 Version".

CW tends to take good care of their shows, at least at first, so it'll at least get a second and probably third season. If this was on FOX, it'd be a dead show walking.

I actually kind of like it so far, CW drama aside. And I can't wait for the rest of the season when we get Jughead and the weird Twin Peaks shit starts happening.

So consider me to be cautiously optimistic.
