The issue will be if Blue sees this happening as a cycle. A war will only inevitably end with either a lot of gem forces shattered to force a principle on rebelling gems, or another leader will be lost at some point causing upheaval and grief. I can see her stepping out because she couldn't deal with losing another important gem but not standing in Yellow's way of continuing the fight if Yellow is convicted in doing so. Blue might also have fears if she were the next Diamond to go, how that would affect Yellow who hasn't allowed herself to grieve.

Who knows though. We haven't seen much of Blue being in charge outside of two lines of suspicion thrown at Sapphire who is scared shitless of her. We don't know how she treats her forces.
