Well Pablo said that now Rogue One is out, the rest of the Pre-ANH Rebels timeline is open game.

The immediate future is Saw Gerrera of course, but we have at least a Season and a half of episodes that could tie-in with Rogue One. New characters are of course the most likely to be incorporated, especially if they are Rebels, so I think we have a good shot at seeing Raddus!

I honestly think they're going to go the whole "Kylo turns good" route, to mix things up.

My personal theory is that Kylo knows about the Prophecy, and Anakin's part in it, and that he is really trying to finish what Vader started; Bringing balance to the Force.

Only he was misguided and tried to "learn the Dark Side" to be able to do it. He will realize his mistakes, and be the Hero of IX.

Which leads me to my other implicated prediction, that Rey is going to turn evil.

Indiana Jones style race for the dangerous artifact between Rey and Kylo. They have some scene together where they aren't trying to kill each other and Kylo reveals something about Luke to her that makes her question him.

A Luke that's a bit greyer in general and clearly is hiding something that causes tension in all his scenes with Rey.

Luke dumping a child on Jakku in the hands of someone like Unkar Plutt would never happen. But I could see them having some plot where Rey's parents are dark siders and they escape from some attack on them by Luke and end up abandoning her on Jakku. One of the things that disappointed me most about Rogue One is that I thought the fact that ALLIANCE bombs killed her father would be a big deal. Yet outside of mentioning it it didn't seem to bother her whatsoever. She even went back to Yavin and debated with them.

There was this underlying idea of "maybe they're not so different" but they just barely tickled it every time. It's a bummer how underutilized it was. Because then your audience isn't gonna care or think twice about the fact that the alliance has assassins and terrorists under their employ and are willing to kill innocents for their goals.

Eh, that's basically still a giant Death Star. Granted it's less of a direct knockoff but the problem with Death Star 3 was as much about its lack of originality as a story point as it was its lack of originality as a design.

If anything the First Order, which is supposed to have learned from the mistakes of the Empire, should have avoided making a superweapon because they saw how poorly it worked when the Empire did it and they'd be better off using their resources for other things.

They're just trying to bring in as many new fans as they can currently. In a few years I guarantee you it will level out. Boys are going to buy the toys anyway regardless of commercials. Cast a broad net then narrow it down later depending on who buys what.

Neither. He's just not anywhere near as evil as he's trying to be. He beats Finn fair and square. Rey then strikes him down in anger and is about to kill him despite being disarmed. She's headed for the dark side and him to the light.
