Wasting potential by focusing too much on mundane things when the meat of the show, the gems, is thrown to the wayside. Then there's the tumor that is Zuke's lapidot, which has butchered two characters that really ought to be more interesting. It takes too long to get plot going and when it does it's often resolved too quickly and too easily. Good buildup, shit payoff. Nothing feels urgent. These characters are doing nothing of importance. There is currently no conflict spurring on development and interactions. Scheduling issues and constant hiatuses are killing this show on top of that.
I want to love this show, so badly. There's a great show underneath all this, it just needs to cast off a lot of unnecessary fat.
