I'm actually astonished this thing has managed to last all week. I started this last week with two hits of acid and a desire for some Multiversity and now it's turned into this. Might as well drop two more times and start watching some serious Batman.

I love that it seems just about everyone gets the shit kicked out of them at some time or another with that crowbar. The issue were Dick stumbled into the black market auction of that particular item was a highlight.

Depends on the context. I wouldn't mind a batman year one if its meant to establish a certain tone for the next couple of DC movies, but I'd prefer Dark Knight Returns as a stand alone movie if it had the intent to parody the other super hero movies that have come out. Assuming you meant Dark Knight when you said batman movie.

I mean the Kanes show up a couple of times in his Batman run and its implied that there's SOMETHING up there but we never really get an answer except for the first Batwoman being in Spryal.

Though I guess Hurt's full origin explains a lot; that "Thomas" Wayne was taken in by Bruce's actual parents at some point, reacted poorly to their charity and started this multi-decade attempt to ruin them.

When are we going to get Morrison back on Batman? There's nobody else on his level. His work on other characters is pretty hit and miss, but his Batman run is unparalleled.
I'm glad no-one else has touched Simon Hurt at least.
