My main problem with japanese cape stuff is the extreme individualism (or should I call it extreme love for the main character?) that reduces the "japanese cape stuff" to "standard japanese stuff".

In cape when the hero struggles with a situation he retreats or its beaten, then they look for help of other characters or look for a plan to counter and then try again.

In Japanese works they always succeed even against all the odds, and in the few cases they fail, they just return on their own with renewed determination and succeed.

In other words, they just punch things, when they look like they are going to lose they punch harder, and in the case they actually lose they just come back punching even more harder. That really limits the situations making it boring on the long run.

There is no progression, no actual struggle, no real interaction with other characters, no plans or tactics, is just the main hero being the main hero.

At least that's how it feels to me. Still I enjoy them, like I enjoy other /a/ related stuff, not saying that its bad but it feels completly different to actual cape material.

Used BnHA simply because its the Japanese hero themed manga I enjoy more. But it has the very same flaw. As you say, at least it tries to look like there is some teamwork, but in the end not much more than other battle shounens.

Then again, not saying that is something bad, only saying it (Japanese cape in general) feels like other manga, they never feel like comics.

Japan has the advantage of a /slightly/ more creator-friendly industry, so while they've still got a lot of problems to deal with they don't have to shorten or edit their storylines to fit into whatever event comic or crossover is coming up next, and the shonen-jump anthology mags mean they don't need to constantly generate controversy with idiotic stunts like Hydra Cap to boost individual title sales. Overall it's a lot more focused storywise.

Also you don't have to worry about the artstyle on the book changing.

Thing is when you don't get many revelations in an issue, you got many people around here complaining that the story is too decompressed.
And a fight takes a few pages at least to be done well.

20 something pages a month are not enough to tell a story and make great fight scenes. In American comics, they choose to hurt the fight scene rather than simplifying the (not very complicated) story.

There was an entire fever called "Batmania" around Batman's presence in Japan, even a manga that was written and drawn by a Osamu Tezuka assistant (that eventually got an adaptation/parody in Brave and The Bold TV Series); this was mostly due to the Adam West series and the first Tim Burton movie basically airing at the same time in Japan.

Not to mention, Batman TAS had somewhat of an impact towards eastern animation; stuff like Big O, Lain, Cowboy Bebop and even Gen's writing on Psycho Pass had inspirational input from the series.

Lady Justice had lot of more issues, not just the ecchi thing. Problem was the setting, it just didn't make sense it was a paceful city with almost no crime where supervillains just pop out out of nowhere.

Well I like how in Boku no hero academy All Might is the personification of the western cape ideals coming to japan, and the main character is the one to receive those ideals and make it his own. In a kind of Captain America origin story.

What I really wish the manga would do is elaborate the insinuations that many "heroes" in its world are actually corrupt. The manga said that crime is low in the poor areas as there is no fame to be won by the heroes and that perhaps even heroes intentionally let some crime slide so they will always have work. It was when Deku went to see All Might's old teacher.

Why can't we be shown the corruption in society? Not one mentally ill guy hunting heroes just magically change public opinion.

Am I the only one that doesn't like this with its frequency? Generally when it comes to protagonists, I want them to be competent (the type that walk away from an explosion like a bad ass).
