There also shouldn't be an episode where Ruby doesn't get at least a minimum amount of screen time, regardless of it being a focus episode for another RWBY.

Ruby is the main protagonist. Yes, all four of them technically are, but Ruby is a tier above the other three. All throughout the first three volumes she kept taking a back seat to everyone else. It's her turn to be the main focus for a volume.
Yang needs some love too beyond "Muh Raven" and being fun.
Weiss after that.
Blake had more than enough development. She could stand to have the least focus this season.

RWBY should always been the main focus, with Ruby as the prime focus.
Honestly, having the four of them split up just gave them more problems. They don't have the time per episode to juggle between four protagonists, plus JNR, and whatever the villains are doing, and still somehow fit in shit with this farmboy kid, and then Qrow and god knows who else.
I feel like this season is going to be a jumbled mess, and the show will continue to be a jumbled mess until any two of our main girls pair up again to join some story threads.

Prehaps though, the lethal the injury the longer it'll take to heal via aura.
