Glorification of the culture of poor urban life. You don't see much media talking about how people can have a great life as lawyers, electricians, or some shit like that. Rappers rap about being thugs and use a specific vernacular, I don't think there is another genre of music except for country that glorifies a lifestyle in the same way. Country is just as fucking bad as rap, too. It's says the same kind of self-affirming shit for rural folks as rap says for urban folks.

This kind of goes away from just being about white males, but I ramble a lot.

Please tell me the writers are white or asian or something. That could explain the stupid dialogue. I'm a black guy who knows crap about black slang and culture and I could probably make more coherently "black sounding" dialogue. This show just hurts the ears and eyes.

Other way around. Comedy Central is only kept alive through South Park and reruns of old comedy movies. Even the Daily Show doesn't bring in much anymore.
Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure Netflix or Hulu would kill for an exclusive deal with them.
