We continue Remender's mostly-stellar Uncanny X-Men run with the unfortunately less-than-stellar Otherworld arc. But there's some good stuff in here, so I'd say it's still worth reading.
I'm unable to post from any device other than the one I'm using for the storytime atm, so a bump would be greatly appreciated if you're reading!

I'm sad there aren't more Fantomex + Evan adventures. This run made them two of my favourite characters in Marvel.
Weebverine is best Wolverine.
FRIENDZONED
>>86822908
There are two kinds of people in the world: The kind who try and force everyone into specific groups, and everyone else.
Fantomex needs a hug.
>>86822982
And so, after all these years, Wolverine FINALLY got to bang Jean Grey.
>>86822982
And finally Logan scores!!! He fucked a Jean Grey!!!

Somewhere, Scott Summers is yelling JEAAAAAAAAAAAN louder than usual and he doesn't know why.
Fuck you, Beast. You're gonna join the Illumanti in about a year. And you're still not gonna stop being an asshole.
>>86823200
>>86823214
It's horrible and unforgivable when Scott Summers creates a kill squad, but it's OK if Wolverine does!
And to be fair, the Illuminati were nowhere near as bad as X-Force.
IT'S CAPTAIN BRITBONG
In This Issue: The Art Gets A Fair Bit Worse
>>86823251
Scott Summers ordered X-Force to kill people on American soil.
Logan's X-Force was dealing with planetary level threats for the whole humanity, not just mutants, like Apocalypse and Dark Angel. There is a diffrence.
>>86823251
At least X-Force managed to save the world a few times (from their own fuck-ups, sure, but still). The Illuminati were hilariously incompetent and accomplished nothing for all their evil.
>>86823302
>Logan's X-Force was dealing with planetary level threats for the whole humanity, not just mutants, like Apocalypse and Dark Angel. There is a diffrence.
So like I've said multiple times, almost none of UXF's missions have any reason to actually be covert missions. They just refuse to call the X-Men or the Avengers for help because reasons.
>>86823340
It was needed to be a covert team, because their missions were to neutralize permanently threats for the world too big for dealing otherwise, but this was a policy that wouldn't go very well neither with the Avengers and the X-Men
What's the status of the Captain Britain Corps now? In Time Runs Out they were destroyed yet again and Brian was the only survivor. Do we have any update on that?
>>86823251
Scott is a douche while Wolverine is awesome. Thats the difference.
>>86823474
Please avoid posting images in a storytime in the future!
This arc could have been great if it was just Fantomex on multiversal trial. Instead, it's just kind of a lame and discordant fantasy plot.
>>86823421
>Be a caucasian again! Stop pretending to be Asian
>>86823441
>I tend to kill em' on sight
No you don't. You've only killed each of them once. You've actually teamed up with them a bunch of times.
>They tend t' come back a few months later
That's what you get for not decapitating Mystique so that the Hand can't bring her back.
How did Sabretooth come back from the dead again?
>>86822882
Man, the Regenesis was such a great start, that had created such an interesting status for the X-books. Too bad that this crap AVX event, and afterwards Bendis destroyed completely this momentum. Fuck Marvel.
>>86823538
It's still pretty damn weird. Why the fuck would the Captain Britain Corps care about THIS particular murder when there's countless murderers throughout the omniverse they don't bother with?
>>86823556
>He doesn't exist in any other dimension
I hate it when they do this. They keep making 616 this special snowflake.
>>86823604
I think it's implied that it's just a show trial to justify murdering what they see as a dangerous anomaly in the Multiverse.
I hate to leave you all so soon, but I have to run a quick errand, I'll be back very soon! Stay tuned!
Sorry about the delay, folks!
>>86823608
>CN
Wade you can do better than this
This arc feels really out of place with the rest of the series.
Ok, so, we're gonna learn soon that this asshole is a product of Weapon Plus. The program designed to produce marketable and presentable faces to the mutant genocide. My question is, what is marketable or presentable about a motherfucker with no skin?
>>86824291
I know, right? It feels like Remender had this weird story but couldn't find a place to do it, so he just said "fuck it, into X-Force it goes"
>>86824339
He used to have skin while he was with Weapon Plus. The Captain Britain Corps are the ones that took it off him. Which creates a plot hole since we saw a statue of him without skin in Za Warudo.
As much as I do hate the english and everything they stand for, Betsy in that Lady Britain outfit...it does things for me.
Don't worry, this is the last issue we'll have to deal with this Captain Britain stuff. The ending is pretty sweet, so there's that, at least.
Remember, kids, if you give in to your inner furry, you'll destroy creation.
oh shit
And that's Otherworld! Not a very good arc, but there's a couple of nuggets of good stuff in there regardless. I think we'll save the next issue for tomorrow, as this thread is on the verge of death already. Tune in tomorrow for the finale of Uncanny X-Force and the Final Execution Saga!
>>86825325
Didn't get a chance to thank you last thread but I really appreciate what you've done X-Anon.
Truly, Thanks for this.
>>86822882
Thanks anon!
>>86825286
his face still isnt healed back on?
Thank you Uncanny X-Anon!
>>86824027
Between this, catching Death's plague, getting half his body blown off by Genocide, getting stranded in EVA while she's imploding, and the pus infestation, Wolverine went through way too much in this run.
>>86823251
>he Illuminati were nowhere near as bad as X-Force.
Kill literal fucking villains vs. literal fucking planets
X-Force was right
>>86823538
>This arc could have been great
It needed different art.
>>86823585
>How did Sabretooth come back from the dead again?
HE WAS A CLONE EGGS DEE DEE DEE
t. Romulus lol
>>86823587
It really was. Eight X-books all tackling different things was really cool.
None of them were /bad/ even if a couple were kinda meh
>>86824385
>Which creates a plot hole
Time moves differently in The World, we don't know when Father commissioned the statues.
