I think this is pretty nice anon - the shadows are pleasant to look at and seeing a more accurate Jasper is always nice. I'd just make Pearl's feet a bit longer, at least. Her hand on Jasper's arm looks like the palm is a little too short, too (compare to the other hand). Or maybe that's just me.

Also this is nit-picking but you could've had Pearl say something like "Agreed ... we could put those techniques to shame later, if you'd like~" instead of doing a Salamander Man.

I saw and flipped through The Art of Ooo in a bookstore. It's fucking huge, had lots of new stuff (by that I mean concept art that hadn't been shown before, not big reveals) and brand new interviews from each major voice actor/actress.

I don't know if we would really get any new info though, since the Crew seem so tight on secrets lately. But we'd see a lot of concept stuff.

Who hyped for Automata? I'm hyped for the game because the first one was so fucking interesting and the music was fantasting, the only thing that was disappointing was the general gameplay. But with Platinum working on that front with time and the budget to handle it I'm excited.

Also it's coming to pc so the potential for SU mods is totally there even if it's just simple model swaps.

anon this isnt bad at all, you just need some consistency and to take a step back and really look at what you've done.

What strikes me as off is first and foremost, pearls feet which are too small, next would be the odd hatching choices on the bed and jaspers collar. Last thing thats really noticeable is that jasper seems to be leaning onto nothing with the bed stopping so low in her back.

As for color its not bad, but try to unify your pallet more and add some warmer colors like pink and red to give it a nicer feel. its a bit dull at the moment. you can overlay a warm tone on the whole thing at a low opacity to help you pick colors that get a long better

The issue is a lot of that applies to Peridot and Lapis, yet it still happened to them. Steven set them on a friendly path, then the next thing you know, they're basically best friends. There was no exposition going from "giving Peridot a chance" to "Peridot are my only friends". Like yeah, you can infer what happened, but it was still lost development.

And as for seeing how the gang reacts to Jasper, we haven't even seen Pearl directly talk to Lapis yet besides offhanded plot-related remarks, usually to a group that happened to contain the other, but Lapis probably has a ton of things she would want to say to Pearl, including deciding whether or not to forgive Pearl for not releasing her when she was found. But that plot line is just collecting dust right now. I wouldn't mind so much if they would at least address it, but the 2 of them haven't so much as had a single exchange throughout an entire season.
