So, I wonder how Smoky Quartz with Rose differed/would've differed from the current Smoky Quartz. I imagine since her and Steven have very similar personalities, the general theme of a jokester would still be there, but maybe refined into something more precise, like a skater girl or something (It would fit with their weapon and the increased femininity).

Appearance-wise, I'm thinking the same hair, but kinda bigger, and lighter in color. Her skin would also be lighter, since Rose is a little pale compared to Steven. Her eyebrows would either be gone completely, or thin like Rose's, but nothing like Steven's bushy eyebrows. Maybe some lipstick from Rose, I really want that to carry on to at least one of her fusions. She would have a more prominent chest, a thinner, visible waist, and be more curvy compared to current Smoky. Also, hopefully she'd have 4 full arms, and current Smoky having 3 is because of Steven being human.

I don't understand it when people think this makes a redemption arc unlikely. In this entire interview Sugar makes it clear that one of the takeaways she would like viewers, especially children, to take from the show is that it's important to love yourself (which Jasper doesn't) and that you don't need to define yourself through a relationship (like Jasper attempted to do) and that you need to recognize that you deserve good things (which Jasper doesn't). It's literally setting up Jasper's redemption. Jasper is corrupted, literally and figuratively; Steven needs to heal her literal corruption, and then her figurative corruption aka her self-hatred and self-pity, can be put on the mend.
