The new Krosmaga interface seems interesting, although I'll miss the original terrain. The god-specific card backs look great, they seem to have added a history of cards played, and they said on Twitter they were testing a chat feature. The puzzles and collections also seem a decent way to advertise their other products to newcomers.

It's just Wakfu, in Dofus they're revamping them now because their gameplay became stale after 10 years and some classes like Xelors or Osamodas were harshly criticized (Xelor's PA removal made fights tedious, Osamodas's invoc's IA is awful, etc.)
In the case of Wakfu it's just because they keep changing or adding mechanics to solve gameplay problems, usually creating a different problem, or because they realize after a while that a class could've been better.
I'm still sad the game dev who wanted to revamp Wakfu's Osamodas left, the idea of being able to catch almost every monster is great but nearly impossible to balance for such a small team, getting rid of it would be for the best.

The game doesn't explain many of the mechanics properly, much of the game play is locked and only open to the elite few. It's glitchy and not friendly to solo users. The player base is cancerous and bullies new players. You can only enjoy the game with a group of irl friends, and most people I know don't like the grindy repetitive nature of the game and quickly get bored. The game needs to be more friendly to new users because it's a very frustrating experience.

If you like turn based strategy games then you might enjoy playing it. The game actually seems like its enjoyable to play now since you don't have to level specs anymore and actually get gear that helps boost what you can do now compared to what I had to go through when the game first launched.
