ITT Movies we could have sworn were just fever dreams we had as children.

I have these memories of a movie where the main character was a Scottish frog, the villain was his evil, shape-shifting aunt from the medieval Era who turned him into a frog, and at one point Big Ben got stolen. No idea what it was called.
>>
>>84993872
might be called "kid anon has allergic reaction to measles shot and wakes up three days later in bed"

Not something as a child, but more recently I've got something in my mind where two characters are having a dream, or are in dream land anyway. It's split in half, one side is having a good dream, the other is having a bad dream.

The dude in the bad dream is trying to make his friend from the good dream come over so he doesn't feel as lonely and eventually I think he succeeds and they're both in a bad dream.

That's all I remember and I don't know if it actually exists or I was dreaming myself. Any ideas?

There are a couple of films you might be thinking of. Could be The Ant Bully, Epic, Thumbelina, etc. Do you remember any details like animation style, films or cartoons it may look a little similar to, whether it was 2d or CG, and around what year you saw it?

Not a dream, but my mother used to sing the song from this to herself all the time and it wasn't until well into adulthood that I found out it was from this cartoon:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeMeBhkYGlg

She also once quoted the "cats eat the rats" line from an old movie called Maniac, and it was awkward as hell because nobody knew what she was talking about.

It's gonna be fun getting old when children won't understand our pop culture references.

There was one with some magic shit coming from a cauldron and the heroes had to stop it from doing its thang. I remember reenacting that scene on my front porch by jumping dramatically in the bushes.
>>
/tv/ and /x/ couldn't help me so I might as well try it here.

There was a surreal family-oriented live-action movie I watched in the 20:15 slot on SRTL in the late 90s.

>boy gets out of bed at night
>opens his closet which turns into a seemingly endless illuminated hallway
>walks it into a surreal apocalyptic fantasy world full of bones and spooky skellingtons
>smashes a huge glass barrier/dome with a skull
>lots of spooky happenings in depressing sceneries
The last scene I remember before getting sent to bed were a bunch of hooded figures with lamb/goat skulls/masks chasing the protagonist(s?) in a castle/dungeon setting. The whole movie was similar to The Neverending Story, except way darker and more melancholic.

Please, you're probably the last board who could help me.

Another forgotten memory from childhood I recently found.
I used to tell my friends this was 'the animated Star Wars movie'
After seeing it again as an adult...well thats pretty much what it is. Except the main character gets called 'water snake' by the Hal Solo ripoff thru the whole film.
Not bad overall but it had that awkward early animated movie feel to it. Charming, but Star Wars does what it does better.

>that flashback scene where the blue wolf thing brutally slaughters a family having an idyllic picnic
I'm not too sure it really happened or my mind was playing tricks on me. This was a time when my country was still renowned for its good dub quality and most anime was translated directly from Japanese, rather than adapting American 4kids shit, it could have happened.
That scene didn't feel out of place at all, it was unexpectedly disturbing. First you see a beautiful picture of a family camping happily, the next frame you see a pack of blue wolves with blood smeared all over them.

And fuck this show,
>cute human female lead
>monstergirls
>kemono/furries
it gave me way too many preteen boners.

To be fair, most of that stuff was taken from the books.

Except for the mental institute and electroshock therapy. I dunno what the fuck they were thinking when they put that in. Originally Dorothy was just in a shipwreck and nearly drowned before washing up near Oz.

The movie is about some weird apocalyptic future and the heroes are weird little dummies and some of them died, and there also was a doctor i think and the enemies were some kind of alien like machines. I have a memory of a cartoon movie that featured..

Bunnies.. Fucking..? At some point in the end?

And it also featured blood. I was told never to watch it again. Looked well made and was dubbed in my native danish. Must have been a european movie, I guess?

It was well made and cozy.. But I have never been able to find it again.
>>
>>85002988
I don't remember explicit bunnies fucking, but you probably think of Watership Down

i have this fading memory of visiting my grandpa for christmas and him putting on this cartoon movie that had the conceit of being about a cricket that played its own leg like a violin and managed to stop a bunch of traffic on christmas eve so people would listen to its beautiful music or something, i have no fucking idea if it was real.

Not a fever dream, but a cartoon that I watched once very late on open tv and seemed interesting.

I got the impression it was made in the 90s. It was drawn in the style of newspaper editorial cartoons and it starred a girl with a bit of messy hair, two purple stockings, and short pants. The drawing style had her eyes together in the nose.

This episode was about the girl visiting her grandmother from one side of her family and finding she had a lot in common with her, then setting up a meeting her other grandma and finding they didn't like each other very much.

I got the impression it was a show for young adult girls, with most of the jokes relating to their lives.

Alright I've tried this twice before with no luck, also it was a long time ago so my recollection is really hazy. It was an adult cartoon that aired on one of the movie channels like starz or showtime. It was about kids in i think elementary school doing typical kid things, but it was broken up into different stories and in between each one it showed the kids kinda shuffling back in forth in the street while going "n-nya n-nya nya nya" with music playing too. One specific scene I always remember is where the main kid is sitting in the nurses office and the nurse removes his chest to reveal his organs (it wasn't graphic but kinda like how you would remove the battery cover on a toy). Oh yeah it also had nudity and possible cursing too (I can't remember any of the dialogue).

Any slight possibility anyone recognizes this?

Its not watership down. My memories are super fuzzy, since I must have seen it on tv sometime in the 90's.. But I remember:

Girlfriend/boyfriend being central tot he story
Teenage stuff
Ending on the note that the couple are having sex, but partly a gag on bunnies.. Having lots of sex

I also remember a big house full of this family of rabbits

And I might confusensome of it up with Biker Mice From Mars, but I believe mopeds were featured as well..

And the blood was from this battle with.. A dragon? Or a metaphorical dragon?

Aw shucks..

But it couldent have been a dream since I was discovered watching it, and my parents being apalled by both the blood and more than implied sex..

And they are dead now, so cant ask them for their memories

Nope. That wasn't it. I remember Pete bought a truck full of useless trinkets near the beginning of the episode, which they dumped in space. He then jumped after it, because I guess he didn't thought they were useless anymore.

I know this sounds pretty vague, but that's what I remember.

The hairstyle was the same, but not at all.

It was a much much adult cartoon, with simplistic drawings and expressions, and the girl's hair was yellow. She didn't even look "girly", she seemed like any character from your typical satirical newspaper cartoon. The jokes were about girl things but more in the kind of period jokes, mixed with some daria kind of irony.

Looking for a cartoon about a wizard and a patchwork dragon having a breath holding contest of some kind and they both end up blowing up. Before they exploded their faces turn into all kind of colors and possibly patterns such as polka dots and stripes. Sage because it's mostly /a/ but i'm desperate.

It was about a little girl that for a reason grows a third eye and sees that all the people in earth are aliens, but nobody else seems to know or notice, then she starts to remember things from when she was a male alien and how he was sent to earth for a crime he did (earth was basically a prision) and I don't know it was a pretty fucked up comic I still wish to know how it ended

I have a few I can't remember. I used to rent alot of shit as a kid.

Vampires and tomato juice I think. It was a vhs series

A puppy is born and it's mother saves it from a burning house. Mom dies in the snow and puppy grows up, goes to a pound and gets adopted I think. There's a scene where a puppy gets locked in a car while it's flooding. Older movie.

A kid dies on Halloween and their friends go through time and it involved a tree

Something like Pound Puppies but...not. They were anthro dogs that live happily in the streets and avoid dog catchers.

For all this years I had this faint memory of a cartoon: either the hero or his spaceship was yellow. The spaceship was also in a shape of star. I remember the hero in one episode got buffed and muscular (maybe that was his ability?). The hero had a watch with either djinni or AI living in it. It was just a floating head with hands. The head was pink and had brain-exposing glass dome. Just insert "I think" every second word because I can barely visualize the memories and I might be even mixing some things up.

I have two I need help with. The first is easier. It was a Christmas special about a young Santa sneaking to steal something like an artifact back from some trolls and fight them off before growing up to be Santa. I remember seeing it a few times on Cartoon Network in the late 90's and early 00's.

The second was a movie my grandma had about a boy mouse who lived in a treehouse (with an owl?) who wanted/had to go on a journey to deliver or bring back something home. >mer is a small worm that lives on Earth with his friend Hoot, cook and philosopher owl. The Earth is in the grip of evil and the hope still lives in the prophecy that foretells the coming of a savior, the "Son of the Star". One day, a diamond comes down from heaven and enlightens Omer. The latter becomes glowworm and acquires the power to fly. At the same time appears the diamond, Dan, one that the prophecy says he is the son of the star. At first Dan is very awkward, he does not know much about life; both animals are then responsible for their education and realize very quickly of its major powers. With the help of Aum (the blind and wise old monkey head) and Stella (starfish), they try to save Syrena (Mermaid) and destroy the evil power embodied by the terrible Morkhan the cruel and Veranda "Tarches 7" (monsters representatives of stupidity): I I (Bigego) the vain, the polluter Virus, Bobard the liar, the coward Jitters, Mok scoffer, Melo and the pessimist the lazy Ronflette .

I still have the VHS where he's a cowboy/sheriff.

By the way, anyone remember this movie where Christopher Columbus meets a talking termite or whatever bug it was, and they sail to America fighting a giant swarm of wasps that just called themselves "The Swarm"? It was definitely a cartoon, but I don't think it ever aired on TV…

I really can't remember anything more OP, but the movie was animated and about some dude (potentionally) crashing on a desert planet or something, and finding shelter in a huge populated dome

Kinda late to the party, but let's see if you can help.

It was a short, a 3D short if I'm not mistaken. A kid or boy was trying to sleep and it had a Doraemon-like cat-thing that communicated with him. The only part I remember is that the cat-thing's eyes and mouth suddenly fell off or, more precisely, broke like a glass, and then the holes started sucking everything in the room towards another dimension or some shit like that, it was scary as fuck and I only saw the short once, late at night in Cartoon Network.

Please help me anons.

It was a cartoon I used to think I might have dreamed. It's about two whales, and one of them idolizes Moby Dick. There was this one cartoon movie i barely remember.

It had two kids who were about to go to bed but they get whisked away on a adventure to the moon.
With them is some roach guy who doesn't have his 5th and 6th arms because his grandfather lost his own on the moon, or something.
Then they have to get to this big ass cannon in order to get back home before the sun rises above their home, or else they get stranded on the moon for good or something.

That's as much as i can recall with certainty.
Animation looked like something from the 70s or 80s.

It was some kind of paper doll animation thing I saw in my high school media arts class. The was a slide with chicken legs running across a field as the world turned apocalyptic. There was also a brown thing moving up and down the slide as it ran, either a corpse or a piece of poo.

The scene after was of a live-action witch doctor dude dancing around in slow motion in a burning hut.

I've never been able to find mention of this ANYWHERE on the internet.

There was this cartoon, most likely made in mid to late 90s, might be German, might be American; the central plot device was artifact shaped like miniature pyramid with hole under it, where you could put a figurine of a scarab, it probably did some shit when put together. These two things were coming from hands to hands of group of people trying to get both of them. The style was cartoony, the only people I remember was a stereotypical traveler/treasure hunter like pic related, the others were couplke of little fat man and (probably thin and tall, not necessarily) woman.

I posted this numerous time here, but no one seem to know this one. Apart of one anon who said he vaguely remember something like this, which makes me sure it's a real thing

I swear I saw this semi-animated music video in the early 2000s. This boy is reading a book and it suddenly grows like into a huge portal and he walks through it to be in some weird paper and ink world. I distinctly remember him darting around a paper forest with black trees and there were lots of crows/ravens throughout the video. And what I think was an evil wizard was trying to stop the boy's journey like with ink magic, sending ink monsters after him. I think I remember the wizard was reading the book while the kid was in it to know where he was.
It's always bugged me I can't find that weird video again after all kinds of googling attempts.
>>
I remember some short about a bunch of animals traveling together because of a drought caused by the rain god or something who's playing games of go against some other evil god and he keeps losing. Anyway the animals are traveling to meet that god and bring back the rain, one of the main character is a frog.

I remember a scene where they find a mother fish and her kid dying in a desert after all the water disappeared and on of the animal start crying and its tears create a puddle big enough for the fish to survive. There was a lot of chinese inspiration to te cartoon and in the end I think it was some kind of legend to explain why frog croak when it rains.

I remembered two movies after getting into this thread.

Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night, who scared the shit out of me even with the swedish dub (I usually thought most things sounded goofy in swedish dubs when I was little).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1w_8EEc0IXs

The second is Vampires in Havana, a batshit mob vampire movie.
http://kisscartoon.me/Cartoon/Vampires-in-Havana/Movie?id=49467

There are two cartoons I remember so vaguely yhey might as well have been make-believe.

I don't remember much about the first, just one scene in particular. It had two men, villains, being forced to dance, by a magical flute (or some other instrument). They end up dancing to their deaths down a waterfall. The movie felt pretty old at the time and had a more eastern style to it (not animu though).

The second movie had rooster-like monsters as villains, basilisk or something. It ended by with some enslaved gofers defeating them by biting them in the tail.

Am i delusional or do at least one of these exist?
>>

His evil brother kidnapped the princess and also has a super long beard and lives in a similar castle to the king but the castle's like upside down and underground. I think that they're beards were connected together somehow...

If anyone can help out, this has been haunting me for decades.
