Although Saw obviously hasn't found rebelling to be the best thing for his health, and if Bloodline is accurate he's had to do some skeezy shit (no surprise, they all did), but I still enjoy the irony that his group was formalized and trained in guerrilla warfare by Anakin Skywalker. Even when he was doomed to become Vader, when he was still a good man he helped plant so many seeds that ultimately led to his own redemption and the defeat of the Emperor.

Muhammad was a Christian living in Mecca and one day the angel Gabriel told him to go amass an army and take over Mecca. He then started writing the Koran which was basically the anti-bible. Maybe if Onderon is in the movie Saw will try and fuck up their plans to take over the planet and lead his own Rebellion that's much more ruthless with some sort of authoritarian 'forcing people to be good, torture the evil, and revenge those that cross you' mindset. He could probably find tons of Rebels who have lost faith in the current Rebellion or who want Revenge for loved ones killed by the Empire (maybe Jyn if her father dies).

Muhammad wasn't a Christian. He was a pagan, and there were Jews and christians in his town but that was it.
He didn't wrote the Coran, he only gave oral lessons that were used to write down the Coran afterward. Also he didn't just invade Mecca, he first converted a group of dude, had to go to another town because the ones controlling Mecca didn't like a new cult developping here, then in Medina he built his powerbase before coming back to Mecca and conquer it.

Anyway I don't think the plot will go that far (could be interesting but the story involve stealing the Death Star plan, not creating an authoritarian regime), so the most we'll see is more in the line of Saw being the most ruthless of the group and that's it.

Nah, you're right. Anakin would've likely just left. They bring it up in the Obi-Wan & Anakin comic that just ended not long ago. Jedi, including Padawans, are indeed free to leave despite their previously made commitment to the Order. Yoda makes a point of it saying that the Order wasn't a prison.

Regarding the twins, it'd honestly be up to Anakin and Padme. No doubt Anakin would probably want to train them himself. Obi-Wan would also make regular visits for the fun of it all, and to catch up on things.

Feel rushed, but since the part on Jakku had a lot of calm moment, just introducing the character I guess it wasn't easy to portray (mostly some subtile show don't tell element or dynamic in some dialogue). The action is a bit confuse at times, they trie to recreate shots of the movie but it's hard to get how one action lead to the other.

But still some nice stuff, like Rey going on her day-to-day job with her portions getting smaller and smaller, or how they reveal the Falcon at the same time Rey say "the Garbage will do". Kylo Ren is really unsettling (which is a good thing). It's a bit sad it doesn't show how Poe got subdue (with Kylo freezing him and the bolt), but on the other hand it was the only time they didn't just follow the movie and tried a little spin on it

So all in all, a bit meh. 4/10 and generous.

I get the sense that this show is kind of Canon too since the creator said so and all we've heard is that it isn't Canon which is the same for the bonus levels in Lego TFA but their events are still Canon. It makes sense that the first lightsaber would be a kyber saber and that it would be a very dangerous weapon since a tiny kyber crystal can potentially blow someone up and killed them. I could easily see an unstable sword with around 30 times more kyber crystals than a normal lightsaber being strong enough to destroy what I assume was a small moon. A few swipes could possibly destroy a planet or at the least cause mass destruction and kill all life on the planet.

I don't think that's the point. I'm pretty sure George left all those big gaps for that purpose, so those characters would get some screen time in some form of media whether it's a tv show, comic or whatever. What's funny is that Alderaan isn't really played as a big tragedy. It's a major event and definitely shocking, but there's no sad music as we mourn the deaths of people we never saw.

Meanwhile the Hosnian massacre is played up as a big tragedy, briefly showing us some people and then playing sad music and begging us to feel sad about their deaths. Like who the fuck are these people? Literally the first time we see them. You could make an argument that between the Clone Wars and the Empire, ships design were more standadized to ease mass-production for a rapidly expanding military in detriment to the galaxy's local culture, and after 20 years of Empire they stayed on that mindset even if the New Republic actual military power decreased.

Also the First Order and the Resistance have respectively the Empire and the Rebel Alliance as ideological inspiration, they could have kept the design just for propaganda value, even if the tech inside changed or whatever.

Also they were at peace for 30 years and war is a boost for new kind of weapon since you can't afford to have a new fighter in ten years, you need it for yesterday.

There's also a bit of other ships design, but aside of the Resistance or the First Order they don't have a lot of focus, so it's easy to overlook.

In TFA? Yeah, I rewatched it recently and wrote down every new ship or vehicle and there was actually a lot more than I realized on first viewing. It's just that most of them are only on-screen for a split second (quad jumper, Han's freighter the Eravana, Crimson Corsair's ship etc.) You can also see some unfamiliar silhouettes in the New Republic fleet right before they get Hosnian'd
